the technology its not same. huawei fast charging only works with huawei fast charger only.keep that in mind because huawei using his own chipset not like qualcomm etc..

owh..ok now im understand..btw if i use huawei fast charger to charge note 5,so same la not fast charging for note 5 right?

Samsung fast charger n fast wireless charger are designed to match only the Samsung phones
I had tested it on my other phones too
Even the fast wireless charger is snail charging vs my other dirt cheap rm30+ qi slow wireless charger on my LG V10. Using the cheap qi charger on S6e n S7e was hopelessly slow while the Samsung fast wireless charging was very fast
So used Samsung supplied chargers on Samsung phones only. Infact since Note5 Samsung had issued official note that its fast charger is meant for the Note5 n S6 series only

How about those 3rd party charger such from Aukey? Any experience on that Uncle?

i found out a powerbank can perform speed charge like huawei QC charger.. and i do ask huawei sales man and merchant they say those Quadcom all dont support fast charge to mate8.. but from one of my friend do hv using HTC A9 , he say using that HTC fast charge can get 5hour for full charge..
the powerbank i bought and sell is ROCK Stone Powerbank with 3.1A output 5v,it dont fast charge,but still faster than samsung fast charge charger..45min can get charge 20~30% of battery


i wanted to try it charge with ipad charger..dont know can get charge full in a night of time..

aukey brand they do need the QC chip in board only support..i do ask those huawei supply salesman and marketing merchant

So far been using a lot charger like mate 7 adapter charger or levono adapter charger, I found only mate 8 charger can able lighting charge mate 8 only

I only use either my Aukey or Lyvsun (3A output) to charge all my Androids n iPad mini n iPhone 6s+
I am not concern about how fast charging is unlike some users
I normally only charge my phones when I go to bed. So how long it takes doesn't bother me
For the Mate8 it takes about 2.5+ hours from 5% ( tested only once). I had not even used the supplied charger
Got too many phones w me n to keep it simple I used those 2 chargers only for all my phones

Any1 tried using other usb cable and paired with the original fast charger to charge the mate 8? Mine charged very slow using xiaomi fast charging cable. So cable actually play the role here to support the fast charging?

afaik yes (for note 4, 5, zenfone 2) have to use ori cable for charge optimization
