QUOTE(Thrust @ Jan 7 2007, 02:40 PM) It's normal. It's called Dynamic Switching. Whenever the processor do not need to process intensive applications, it will step down the speed. Thanks a lot for the answer, another issue: the AMD dual core optimizer, according to the readme "* On 4x4 Systems, right click on the AMD logo system tray icon and select "Gaming Mode" in order to turn "Gaming Mode" on/off." But i dont have the logo in system try, i double clicked the "amd_dc_opt.exe" in the installation folder but still cant see the icon. Any help ! Thanks; /AP

i have a very serious problem now!!!..last week i sent my 3010 to repair then the enginner there found that my motherboard is 'electrical short'.at least that is what they said.but i have no idea how it happened...then they replace a motherboard for me and i only found the motherboard to be a hp pavillion dv2000 one..then now something wrong with my graphic card temperature..once ON my laptop, maintain stable at 120+ degree and keep giving me the elevated temperature warning...did anyone here know anything about hp dv2000 motherboard?? i am guessing that it is because the MB didnt mean for my v3010 casing due to weak air ventilation..i only able to send again for repair on friday...

Solution: change your RAM. a non compatible ram wtf? it was added since i bought. why would the shop add a non compatible ram? thats very devious. it has sometihn to do with the bluetooth NOT the rams. because the bluetooth uses the usbohci.sys file which causes the bsod. so whenever bluetootch isnt running, its fine. and the solution from hp support was to update the bios firmware. what kinda solution are u giving me? change rams? -____-
