Did you manage to fix this?

I just recently opened an account and I'm getting the same problem.. managed to create internet banking account and everything but the debit card securecode keeps getting service temporarily unavailable.

Have called CS twice now but still not working

Its normal not getting OTP when 1st register / open account at branch. If you already back home, call them and let them know you not getting otp from the registered phone. If at branch, ots tell the ocbc staff to call their IT>

mind one the staff call the IT department, she told me to wait 1 week. but ended up after 2 days, the phone sms/OTP successfully register & updated.

So I ask CS why there’s time lag between actual transaction date and the transaction date in the ocbc online banking.

CS replied the one shown online is not the accurate one. Once you receive ur bank/cc statment, the statement will capture the actual transaction date.

The time lag only happened if you made transaction after 9.45pm.

I also did ask when is cutoff date for interest to be calculated, apparently his answer is 11.59pm, not 9.45pm. 🧐

But, as per my random calculation, the bonus interest is calculated based on posting date.. so, if deposit in after 10pm, the txn details will shown up tomorrow as the posting date is tml n not today..

Try make it simple. for cc, avoid last minute payment on due date.

For cash deposit, make full use of the last time deposit/withdrawal and earn the 1 day free interest.

For CC, what is your recommendation of days before the due date?

If I top up WeChat Pay RM500 using the OCBC Debit card, can this fulfill the "Spend" requirement?

For CC, if DUE is 26th, I always pay on 24th using Instant Transfer, when to pay, sendiri suka, as 2 days before still same zone. If use normal transfer, better 4-5 days as bank no process normal transfer on sat & sun & holiday.

WeChat pay with ocbc dc is counted as spending.

Need to call CS to link the OTP to our mobile number. mine link twice only successful after at least 4 calls to them

Was your CC application successful? I planned to get CC and open 360 account at the same time so no need to go branch twice.

Yesterday found out I got rejected for OCBC Titanium for dunno what reason and unable to appeal. mad.gif

I already work for 2.5 years. My gross income was 4k two months ago, but I just change job and am now at 6k. My monthly installments barely reach 1k. My existing two credit cards always fully paid off also.

Wonder if they are more strict bcos of the RM50 promo... hmm.gif

Will go to branch today to just open 360.

Just managed opened 360 account at branch.

Interestingly, CS mentioned that they will be changing the criteria for min RM500 spending next month. Apparently it is bcos BNM advised them to. It will be changed from spending to some form of forced saving with investment element.

Best case: FD for few month
Worst case: Some weird investment product.

Anyway, they will update when more info is available.

Cash advance got fee right?
I mean use the Titanium credit card to topup my Boost wallet (consider online spending)
then I withdraw from Boost wallet (get cash)
so the whole process is like taking cash advance but without the charges
and fulfil the RM500 spending at the same time biggrin.gif
