QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 27 2017, 04:37 PM) Really? funny they nvr advertise on their webpage anymore. Yea, weird. They actually have official fliers & brochures, but not published onlinethey started with 10k / customer then later the lady whatsapp me saying can hentam. I hentam 96% of my CL. QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 27 2017, 04:50 PM) I pass by RHB booth every working day in MV and none of the staff will approach me. This same goes to all other booths in MV for e.g. UOB, HSBC and SCB. You must be lookong young. Positive. Nevertheless, if I know it has good promo, I may consider but well I don't like to approach them. If apply directly via bank, I supposed will also have. And i am very thick face uncle. Alwiz go and ask what they can offer me. They sometimes have special items that is not openly displayed. QUOTE(bearbear @ Jun 27 2017, 04:59 PM) She'll probably get commission for new card applicant, but BT and all doesnt fall to her branch. It's a card facility and doesnt impact her even if you leech it.This post has been edited by justanovice: Jun 27 2017, 05:31 PM |

Hi guys,
My friend has about rm5k outstanding balance with MBB ikhwan. He can commit 500 per month, which is more than the minimum, but the numbers just seem the same to him 😅 So told him BT might be a good choice. Plan to settle within 12 mths. Any bank to recommend? And what would be the procedure, basically just ask the banker? Help is appreciated. Thanks |

I read you guys posted abt HLB and PBB.. chances to apply new card is low to no chance to get approved considering the bad records. sorry to say, forget about spending more with the card or applying new cards. dont keep digging the debt hole deeper. |

He said he kinda insaf already and wanted to just pay without further using the card. So he was asking me if there is a way for him to settle it and save a bit on the interest. If, for instance, he has a balance of abt 5k, and managed to pay on time, without fail, 500 per mth.. his BT application at other banks has a high chance of not being approved?chances to apply new card is low to no chance to get approved considering the bad records. sorry to say, forget about spending more with the card or applying new cards. dont keep digging the debt hole deeper. |

Try PBB or AEON for 0% BT but good luck with the application. |

QUOTE(thecoffeeguy @ Jun 28 2017, 10:57 AM) To be honest, the very important key is - how much is your friend earning per annum, whether he can apply for new cards to do BT etc depends on that.Since your friend did not miss any payment, should not fall into bad credit score that much. For example, some of us here have so much balance in credit card account (due to BT) but with prompt payments and adequate income, there's no problem applying for new cards. Anyhow no harm trying since not much damage compare to currrnt situation. So, good choice for BT would be 0% ambank, pbb, aeon. But application is super strict and stingy credit limit Now ambank also have 0% bt for 1 year. Which may suit your friend. Ambank have generous CL, hopefully easier to get approval too. So i suggest your friend to try ambank first. Note: applying too many will kind of leave an 'enquiry' to the credit report. So i suggest to prioritize your friend's application to the banks that are easier to get, ie in my opinion ambank > aeon > pbb. In fact i would not try aeon & pbb if ambank fails. Might scout for other banks first even though may not have 0% bt. |
