KLCC area. Got upgraded last night from 500 -> 1000

Based on speedtest stable download speed at 930 but upload capped at 530, same as before. I wonder if the final profile will be 1000 up and 500 down.

We will know soon I guess.

For those who still have not seen any speed upgrade try to check your router setting and see if there is any DL/UL limit being set.

I use Asus Rt-N66U my speed is only 150mbos. But when use back stock router from Time ac1200, my speed is 490mbps. Why different speed on different router?

Hi. What are the downlink speeds you get from speedtest.net using 5GHz-2 band on your RT-AC5300? For me speedtest always gives around 750Mbps but iperf can get 950Mbps. Cannot fully utilise 1Gbps on wireless.

Hi, your Asus RT-N66U is using wireless N technology.
As the C1200 is using AC which can achieve more speed.

N router is outdated.
AC is a new technology which can achieve more speed.
