If TIME can do new rollout with a better router, VERY GOOD! Now for existing customers who have the DIR850L I suggest they just accept returns and refund (for those who opted for the upgrade) and the rest to do a 1-to-1. It's the responsible thing to do.

The release of firmware has been delayed to 24 Sept, hope they managed to release the firmware on time & then all existing D-link DIR850L users will be able to patch the vulnerabilities using the newer firmware.

Once we received it, will share it out here too.

It depends on how Dlink will do it. When I bought my new ASUS router yesterday (A MUCH BETTER ROUTER BTW) the firmware was autodownloaded the moment I connected to the TIME network. If expect users to do it themselves 99% won't one.

New installation will now come with the TP-Link Archer C1200.

I actually have that router and it is much better than D-Link DIR-850L.

I hope that they would replace existing customers!

Good morning! So far I think TIME's response is better than UNIFI on this issue. I hope they find a way to also help customers who upgraded to DIR850 or already received it prior.
