You did try login without any password right? (yes, that is the default password!) Just click login without filling anything.

Else, you'll need to hard reset it. (through the reset button on the router)

Yes, i tried and its not working.
I will hard reset it when i get back to home tonight and come back here for the TIME connection configuration.

Thanks!

Hi guys, as you know the DLink AC1200 router has been exposed to massive vulnerability. I was unfortunate to upgrade to it from the stock router via Time. Any of the sifus know a good alternate AC router that I can use as my primary? Thanks!

Morning all, there's a huge security issue with the D-Link Router. I am not a technical person, but if anyone has attempted to update their router and adjust the setting back later (update releasing on 21 September apparently). Please help to post some tutorials and steps here. I think it will be very much appreciated not only by me and others too!

Hi there, yes, I am one of those people who upgraded and now very unhappy already. Am thinking to buy a new router anyway tonight.

bro @yeapch1 how are you? I'm very happy with my TIME subscription, now only a bit upset the router issue lah. I'm looking for ASUS routers, any good AC ones recommended compatible with TIME?

But the firmware is not released yet though, no?
And i checked, the firmware update is country-specific.

Might take a while.

Should I be worried though? I don't do anything 'sensitive' on my home network, well, except for occasional banking.

Well, remote management is disabled by default. And I've disabled SharePort too. Anything else I should be doing for the time being?

Yea, I have tried all sorts of default admin password for the router login and non of it is working.
Furthermore, I did not login and changed the password before. That is why I am thinking to reset the router.

Hi,

There is a possibility that during Activation, SI has already changed the Router Admin password as requested by TIME.

Feel free to check out my previous post HERE.

For the TIME Login credentials, feel free to call 1800 18 1818 and request for it.

If you need further assistance, please feel free to pm/whatsapp/email me.

Thanks.

Anyway, thanks to bro @yeapch1 for the assistance and advice since more than 2 years ago, in fact!

I hope TIME hasn't rolled out too many of these, because I know A LOT OF UNIFI customers are on this model, and many of them won't know these risks.
