Time down at oug parklane, again.. zzzzz

EDIT: As soon as I posted it, connection came back online. It was down for about 30mins I guess.

Im happy with Time's internet speeds/connection/ping. But without fail, it has reliability issues at Oug parklane.

So far it was down on 25th Nov, 1st Dec and today 26 Dec..

25th Nov = internet down couple of hours
1st Dec = internet down for 1 and a half day or so
26th Dec = internet down for 30 mins.
dont really know whats the issue here..

Guys, I rented a place at Sunway Damansara recently moving out from Kota Damansara which is just a stone's throw away. To my surprise, the new place which I rented does not have TIME coverage which I only aware after I wrote in and inform my relocation. So what choice do I have but to cancel? Later they reply me to pay penalty fee of RM500 because of termination before the contract lapses.

I don't mind paying the relocation fee of RM120 and happy to continue using their service but the problem is due to the unavailability of coverage! 

I don't think this penalty is justifiable at all. What do you guys think?

yea I know it is a 24 months contract, but I am complaining because the lack of flexibility. First time subscribing to wired internet and I didn't think much about it as the sales guy talked me into it. I constantly move here and there all across Malaysia. Rarely settled due to job nature.

Anyway, I would still pay for the penalty fee before gets any trouble. So no more wired connection service for me anymore.

not yet break, about to because as suggested by lyrilmaki, I could nego with landlord and maybe let them continue the contract.

I just bought a hot glue gun and some hot glue stick from MR DIY and stick myself.

It seems the cable starts fall off once in a while, it will come in handy to doing it yourself for the fixing

I signed up when TIME offers:-
1. rebate of RM500.00; or
2. free first month's fee

of course, for the rebate to be applicable, you need to show them your current UNIFI bill. UNIFI's contract is for 24 months minimum and you will be levied penalty fee of RM500.00 if terminated prematurely.

that RM500.00 rebate will be credited monthly into your TIME account, meaning to say, you won't need to pay the monthly fees for about 3 months. a lot of people mistaken this rebate is in cash form but it is not, so you still need to pay from your own pocket the RM500.00 first.

whatever it is, i still see win win situation for us consumer and TIME.
