I tried, I got it at averagely consistency of 235--245KB/s.

There is a shaping being done at the server., not your line.

wow you're still awake.

since you're awake, wanna ask, i recently updated the dlink850 router, then all the settings vanished and have to setup again..

i followed what the setup wizard required, inserted my login and pass.
no problems with internet, its working. (also amazed at how easy it was to setup the router, just need the login and pass)

but ipv6 is not set up.

i tried to set up the ipv6 but idk if i do it correctly or not.

my internet connections is: pppoe
session: share with ipv4

address mode: dynamic ip
mtu : 1492 bytes

dns: obtain a dns server address

and the rest below are all enabled + slaac+stateless dhcp

anything i should change? did i set it correctly?

I using cable to connect 2 router. I decided not to use DIR615 and will buy xiaomi wifi 3 to boost up the signal.

hi got a quick question, im renovating my house and my electrician has pulled the fibre optics from the riser room to the place i want my router to be, concealing the wires.
Is there a particular data outlet port I need?

currently using a specific brand for switches, thinking of standardising them.
Anyone can help have a look at the models to see which is compatible with Times?

I would like to share this with everybody regarding my termination of unifi services after i subscribed to time broadband.

I emailed tm and also liased with them thru online support and they told me i must go to tmpoint outlet to cancel the unifi services being reason they require my thumbprint. I believe this is stupid procedure and nit fair to us. Why they need our thumbprint ? Why subscribe the service does not require thumbprint whereby termination need ? I need to apply half day to settle this matter as my company is strict on attendance. This is totally a stupid procedure by tm.

Next i would like to raise complaint regarding the termination penalty of RM500. I subscribed to unifi in year 2013 and suppose no more contract bound as already more than 3 years but they claimed that i upgraded my package to 30Mbps last year in 2015 and i still bound with 24month new contract. What i want to say is during upgrading of package done by their tele-marketer, they did not provide me with new router and modem. Why should i paid for the penalty ? They called me to upgrade the package when my first subscription's 24 months contract was about to expire. What if i cancel my subscription on that time and apply a new subscription, i believe they will supply new modem and router, right ? Then it is fair for them to charge me for RM 500 penalty. They never supply me with new modem and router, why should i pay for the penalty ?

Now i would like to find out how to claim the compensation for not achieving the speed as the package i subscribe. My first package is 20Mbps and i never get this speed thru out the 24months contract. I got only +-10Mbps. I also never got 30Mbps after upgraded package. It is about 10Mbps also and sometime close to 20Mbps. How to claim our losses ?

Last time we only have TM, nowadays got many telco offer broadband. Dont be too arrogant. Your service is lousy, TM. Fxxk TM.

I encourage all of you to change to time broadband if the service available in your area. It is really far far better compare to the unifi broadband.

I got about 7 devices connected to wifi. I always faced problem of connection when using unifi (30Mbps). most of the device got very slow network speed and always stuck. It happened every day and night. And now after change to time broadband (300Mbps) i really enjoy the speed and no problem at all for all the devices. My children can enjoy youtube with flawless speed and i can enjoy my tvbox at the sametime.

Luckily my area just have time broadband last month after 3 years of waiting. Thanks to time broadband.

Did tele marketer tell u if u upgrade the package it will renew contract?
and do u read their TnC?
Modem is lifetime warranty so rosak can claim new wan foc..
as my case for unifi they upgrade speed and renew contract..telemarketer only tell me contract renew no say new router and modem
if got record the conversation more good.

as for ur speed problem.did u call TM about the speed problem?
if no, billing department unable to waive it..

i got 2 ISP one Time one Unifi.
Time dint give me problem yet as in term of speed and ping.
as for Unifi got few problem but TM manage solve it so i happy but i also want cancel soon

The tele marketer did tell me is new contract but never read to me the TnC. I checked their website regarding terms and condition and they mentioned 24months upon installation. they did not do any installation when upgrading my package. I complaint many many times regarding slow internet speed but all are thru customer complaint number 100. How to retrieve the record ? The problem never been solved since year 2013 until now. They always said the same thing. " interruption is due upgrading of service in your area". Ofcourse at first they will ask you reset modem and router. When they unable to solve then they will said the same reason. Got one time i received the sms informing that the upgrading of service is occur at penang but when i complaint they also said the same thing. I am staying at KL lah.

about ur speed case..TM also cant solve the problem..u report to SKMM..this want u go unifi thread alot user even staff tag also do tht..

Xiaomi Wifi 3 does not have gigabit port. So it will limit u to only 100mbps

Sometimes not router prob. My wifi signal is 0-1 bar but i can still max out my 500mbps with good wifi adapter. I found out after change 3 different ac 1xxx router and so called ac 1xxx wifi adapter.The installer also surprised i can max out 500mbps wif wifi cox they never seen it. They only seen 250mbps max through wifi

Hey guys i need a bit of help here. I'm new to Time but lately i've experienced intermittent disconnection. What i've noticed is that i lose all connection and i won't even be able to to connect to my router. Few seconds later, my pc is able to reestablish connection and everything is fine again. Any idea what might be causing this ? Im on a freshly installed win10 and ethernet cable.

Pls check yr ethernet cable whether its loosen and also which router are you using ?
