It's a pain in the ass to get it right, almost as hard as pulling off a 26g shotgun build in em, but I agree on the flavour. Gets the tank way too hot after a few pulls tho. Used 3.5 mm coils for the horizontal build.

But now I exclusively use the Crown with the OCC as a travel buddy.

Any of them worth checking out for an MTL/RLer like me? Most tanks now apparently cater more for the cloudzbro crowd, with hell airy draws even with AFC dialed down.

I know Geek Vape's been packaging single coil adapters/airflow reducers for their tanks since the old 'Cado, so that's worth noting, but the new fat 'Cado and fat Griffin is too big for my cute lil Pico (mod).

And the Pico (tank) is AFAIK pretty much a repackaged Taifun with AFC, PEEK and the piss-orange plastic tank... so it should be okay for MTL (relatively lol).



As for ceramic tanks, you mean the hybrids with ceramic parts like the Moradin or the full ceramic paloozas like the Simba?

Also, any thoughts about the Notchcoil? Next step or transient fad? Personally I read "Ni legs" and I run TF away lol... not a fan of Ni in my vape, even when not part of the coils.

Very true indeed. It seems almost everything gets bigger holes in them that'll put my exes to shame in the past couple of years.

I know the authentic Pico checks out all the point you've listed but no way in hell I'm dropping that kinda dime on a vape gear. Goblin mini v2 was on my wishlist before I figured out the wicking problem so I'm just gonna skip it. MTL is a niche in vaping and since vaping itself is a niche, its a double doozy to find something that gets it right. But there's cubis, magister, zephyr, hurricane, avocado, pico, izi, gamma, bunch of others that names escapes me right now.

Coil-less tank like the Atlus. Great concept but poor execution. I think Notch Coils are just a passing fad, like a fart in the wind. It hits hard and fades as hard as it hits. Not really a fan of SS coils TBH. Too finicky to work with. Ni was great but I prefer good ol kanthal any day of the week.

"The wicking problem" (or conversely "the leaking problem") on the GobMiniV2 isn't really THAT bad. It's almost non-existent if you use the "use-plenty-of-cotton-but-only-one-pointy-end-of-the-tweezers-jab's-worth-of-cotton-into-each-wicking-channel" method.... supposedly (haven't tried though... maybe next time).

If you just simply leave the channels unfilled with cotton (like I have right now) you need the "close-AFC-fill-but-don't-fill-full-turn-upside-down-wait-open-AFC-blow-excess/old-chimney-juice-while-upside-down-wipe-mount-suck-to-reestablish-vaccum" method to fill.

I've had great wicking and minimal leaking/flooding/gurgling with the GM2 so far filling it this way... but I do lose a few drops of liquid blowing the chimney dry... and laying it on its side for too long does make it gurgle a tiny bit.

Unfortunately both "methods" (lol) are not anywhere within any rational definition of "hassle-free" at all lol... so I understand why the GM2 turns people off when there are so many other tanks available that don't induce a throbbing headache every time you need to fill up or change wicks.

For me, personally chalking it up as the price to pay for wanting a "mini" RTA that is mostly metal and glass (unlike the PicoTank), has passable MTL (unlike the Serpent) and comes with a single-coil adapter for emergencies (unlike the Diablo Mini).

Having ticked all the boxes it has, I guess I can live with the crazy-ass "rituals" the it forces upon me lol.

Single spaced 26g SS316L 7 wraps vertical works wonders with TC. It doesnt get the tank hot fast.

But jokes aside, why the eff don't we have mod condoms/covers made out of TPU or real bloody rubber? Sillicone stretches, attracts lint, is thick AF, gets stuck in your pockets... and, of course, ruins the looks of your beautiful mod.

To be fair, it must be a pain to mold TPU (or rubber) for more... complex-shaped mods (and it's gonna be a pain to put them on/off too). Also, silicone is bouncy-er than TPU, which helps heaps with shock absorption (though rubber is about the same).

Need to know setting for Lemo 2 (also is this Tank better for creamy or fruity/minty)?

I go to JB once a month and people there still vapes openly and such. No big worry. Though I would caution not to place multiple bottles out in the open during any "yumcha" session. Not sure if authorities there will take action but better not take the risk. When in Rome and all that.
