it depend on number of users in your area.

i have a lot of monkeys coming in starting April.

Your speed kira ok already...my speed also fluctuate...kadang2 want to bang the modem sweat.gif

Btw, Maxis users who downloads from RS, use the TeliaSonera servers...I've tested with other servers but TeliaSonera gives me the best speed (WBB & M3G)

....today my Belkin Wireless G router went kaput...had to go to Puchong and replace it...and I must admit that the ZTE MF600 modem very durable...on 24 hours for weeks also no problem smile.gif

EDIT: I took out the modem's battery

Oh. Actually I don't use P2P much, I get my share of ______ through DDL, that's why I like Maxis.

Yup, should be. RM8x with postpaid, I think.
Oh. Heh. I think my area has alot of night users cause my speed dips every night, and in the afternoon it zips through...  rclxub.gif

For you WBB speed fluctuate at night? That probably means there's a lot of WBB users. Just hope not a lot of people use Maxis3G wink.gif

In my area, during nite & midnite, all the time I reconnect I get speed around 384kbps. An indicator my area lots of ppl using Maxis3G. The "orange" telco still wins.

Next test is at my office. But no point already because the "orange" telco has good speed there.

Looks like I'm gonna terminate my Maxis3G account within this one month time.

I'm using the same modem and I have used it for all wireless broadband providers: Celcom, U-Mobile, DiGi (EDGE & HSDPA), Maxis. smile.gif
No problem for my case. smile.gif
Just make sure to key in the right APN, then it should work. smile.gif

If it is a locked modem, why bother talk further about it?
The world "locked" resembles the meaning nothing can be done further except unlocking it beforehand right? smile.gif

I'm not sure who is the right person that can help unlocking the modem.
Anyway, I think by Googling, you can find people who help in that. smile.gif

Yeah, if it is locked, really nothing much can be done.
Why don't buy a new modem? Though it doesn't look like a good suggestion but then it is worth if you tell me, you can use it on any other telco. smile.gif
