I just managed to join in the multisim club. (only 1 multisim so far)
My unlimited package was canceled end of last year, but i managed to
get it back. Lucky me. smile.gif

However, i find that the speed is not consistent, sometime only reach 80 KB/s but it can fluctuate to
almost 300 KB/s....

Anyway to make it stable and fast??

Hey bro sharing is caring! Would you mind to tell us how to get back the package?

Just want to know your experience, so far when i used my iPhone 3GS or Huawei E1762 directly connect to my PC, I get > 2Mbps download but <60kbps of upload speed only.

But when I connect my E1762 to wireless router Prolink PWH2004, the download speed is the same, however I can get very good upload speed which is >300kbps...

Anyone has this experience before, or can explain the reason behind the differences? Both setting in iPhone, PC and Prolink is the same.

your router is HSPA. which means HSDPA & HSUPA.

your modem is just HSDPA....

your iPhone is also just HSDPA.

hence the diff in upload speed. but then again, currently in Msia, only DiGi has HSPA network. Maxis and Celcom still HSDPA.

Hence good download speed and upload speed...

Correction: Only Celcom and U Mobile do not have HSPA. Maxis, in fact, has already implemented HSPA in a growing number of places.

This is what I got in JB, and this ain't burst speed. It was consistent:

This is what i don't understand, the router is only a router and doesn't have the modem function in it. So the upload speed should not influence by the router but should be influence by the modem.

BUT, using the E1762 on PC vs through the Prolink router showed different upload reading. Strange rclxub.gif

Anyone can do a test if you have both Prolink PWH2004 and E1762??

I have also tried U2-TF modem as well, when plug into Prolink router, I got >300 kpbs upload speed, while plug into
PC only give me 60kbps max.

you can cut-to-fit the existing simCard to follow the size of the micro-SIM.
