If yes i have to start switching back to digi again and then click BROADBAND COVERAGE i see 70% of Penang is HSDPA try use another 3G phone before you opt to a modem and test it OUTDOOR at least ONCE |

QUOTE(adrive @ Sep 2 2009, 07:27 PM) yeah, thats the thing. and even bayan lepas is covered with full 3g. simple alternative... since u r using nokia... in your network setting set 3G ONLY means your phone will connect to the net with 3G only... if bad signal 1 bar or NO bar it wont go to EDGE or GPRSim using nokia 5800xm. Supposed to be ok kua. I mean it was okay when using celcom , but worsen when using maxis. |

QUOTE(leecwai @ May 7 2010, 02:41 PM) This is what i don't understand, the router is only a router and doesn't have the modem function in it. So the upload speed should not influence by the router but should be influence by the modem. im using PWH2004 router... my speedtest is the same on upload. cant do right now coz my maxisbb capped alreadyBUT, using the E1762 on PC vs through the Prolink router showed different upload reading. Strange Anyone can do a test if you have both Prolink PWH2004 and E1762?? I have also tried U2-TF modem as well, when plug into Prolink router, I got >300 kpbs upload speed, while plug into PC only give me 60kbps max. the only diff is the ping time.. using router my ping time add another 15-25ms |

QUOTE(Zepx @ May 15 2010, 11:38 PM) Hey guys, anyone knows how to connect to 3G and not 3.5G? Because I found that 3G more stable than 3.5G during some hours like 10pm.... it's even slower than 3G during that period. get a 3G only fone and use it as modemAdded on May 15, 2010, 11:38 pmIn other words, instead of teal light, I want the blue light. example SE k530 |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 30 2010, 08:13 AM) Finally had the chance to try BT after 2.00 a.m., the so-called Happy Hour. Boy, it was lovely. your BT client got scheduler feature? use it to ON during the happy hour only la... so no need to stay up.. just let you lappy/pc on But to ask me to wait till everyday's 2.00 a.m. gonna be a big challenge. So, I'll stick to DDL most of the time and once in a blue moon will use BT when I'm still awake. |
