Receive the card on Feb - racked up 700k points in 3 months. Redeemed business class ticket Mel - KL today, but noticed that it's not possible to choose the seats?

Maybank's treatment for their premium customers are getting quite bad nowadays.

I helped my spouse to apply for M2P via FD as we want to get the card ASAP for some expenses.

Put in FD early May, everything signed and deliver to them. Till today more than 2 weeks also no news.

When called in, was told a document was not signed. So much delay for such a simple matter sigh.

Precisely.

That's why I asked the branch to find the letter.

Lucky they kept a copy and printed it out for me without the name to be filled by HQ apparently.

2 weeks later, no news still. Really facepalm.

I contacted my RM to help me screw the staffs from the another side.

Apparently the letter was sent to the branch dated 05th May 2017.

Nobody from branch bother to follow up....

So I did what a Malaysian would do. I complaint again..

Hopefully by this Friday can collect from branch already....

Premier come in pair

VI - Same as your normal VI earn rate
Amex Reserve - 5x TP for any transaction except those restricted (gov related, insurance, etc)

I just notice that some oversea transaction on amex didn't get up to 5X points. No time to further trace yet. Does it normal?

So I have a problem, I've tried transferring 430k treat points to asiamiles (90k miles) but the transfer was rejected. All information matches: name, address, etc...

I had done a 1k miles transfer to asiamiles in february to make sure that it would work (and it did) but now it doesn't.

It's especially frustrating because the flights I want to book are still available but I'm worried it won't be by the time it gets there.

Maybank said they'd ask Asiamiles why it was rejected but they didn't get back to me after a week.

Wonder if anyone here has been in the same situation?

Because, if the treatpoints cannot be converted then the card become pretty much useless...

Are you sure you quoted the correct AsiaMiles membership number? Have you called Asia Miles to check whether your conversion had indeed been requested by Maybank?

Yes I'm sure. I had them repeat the number twice. I was waiting on an answer from Maybank but will call Asiamiles tomorrow morning.

Ok, I called Asiamiles and they say that Maybank has never contacted them about a conversion and that the rejection would be on Maybank's side... This is really getting frustrating.

Fastest airmiles conversion rate maybe but also most annoying process to get your miles to actually convert.

EDIT: The miles have now posted. So it took 20 days to convert the treatpoints to Asiamiles.

Basically you can get 2 economy ticket for the miles requested for 1 business class.

Wondering if now Krisflyer is a better deal in terms of redemption or not.

No you're wrong.. It's more expensive to redeem both economy and business class...
It's no longer a fixed miles - it's seasonal miles.. Meaning all the miles redemption - some you'll get low and you'll get high
