Does Visa or Amex have better foreign conversion rate?
I tried purchasing 1 AUD on both Visa and AMEX.
Date posted: 6 Feb
Visa: RM3.49
Amex: RM3.49

Could of weeks before, I made a purchase and using AMEX is more expensive.

On genxyz blogspot, his review is AMEX is cheaper

If you have the option of paying utilities bills using Amex but incur additional 3%, would you do it?

It's my company haha.. I'm just wondering if anyone would still pay with 3% surcharge. Integration with Ipay88 - a 3% transaction fee for Amex,Visa,Master.

so it's cheaper to redeem economy now while business rates went up instead...
*
No you're wrong.. It's more expensive to redeem both economy and business class...
It's no longer a fixed miles - it's seasonal miles.. Meaning all the miles redemption - some you'll get low and you'll get high

With Enrich devaluation on 10 June, there is no changes to Asia Miles.
Just called Asia Miles and the points are still the same. In fact Asia Miles is much cheaper than Enrich

Mel - Kul (Business One Way)
MAS: 55k points
Asia Miles: 45k points

I could see it previously. I believe it means that there's no availability on the selected dates. Perhaps you may try with other dates?
*
I tried many dates and different routes.. Tried both economy and business nothing works. What about you? Did you see anything?

How much points you currently have? This could be due to you don't have sufficient points to book and they don't show the availability...The new system is very weird.

2000 enrich points, 1 million treatspoints.. I dont want to convert to enrich without knowing how many points for redemption

I want permanent ones. Doesn't matter for medical or what. Kinda tired calling them whenever I have to go abroad for business.
*
You don't really need temporary increase..
There's one time I bought something about RM40k+ and my credit limit is 30k.. The trick? Just transfer money to your credit card and the limit increases to 40k =) Without even need to call the bank. Of course this means you need to have cash on hand

We can transfer more than the balance owed into the card? I know Citibank can but once I tried to do for Maybank, they did not allow me to transfer more than the total amount owed for the card. :S Prolly good to try again.

You need to use Interbank transfer...

Ok guys! I've just booked Malaysia Airlines via AsiaMiles! It's so much better and cheaper compared to Enrich

Oneway
Enrich (Previously) : Mel - Kul (Malaysia Airlines)
55000 Points + AUD 198

Asiamiles (Booked today): Mel - Kul (Malaysia Airlines)
45000 Points + AUD 266

Mel - Kul = RM9781
45000 + RM902 (AUD 266) = RM9781
45000 Points = RM8879

45000 AM = 214650 TP = Spend RM42930
RM8879/RM42930 = Cashback of 20.1%!!

I am a noob in this but I think the cash back of 20.1% is so high only because booking one way from MEL to KUL results in very high ticket price, much higher than booking return from KUL to MEL! If calculate using return fares, I suspect the cash back will be around 8% or so.

Lol.. From KL - Mel i fly airasia RM800 XD

If we were to redeem flight via ks,AM,Enrich, and paid remaining tax using credit card, is the 2 million travel insurance still valid?

1) Download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iimmpact
2) When adding money "Select Boost" as payment method
3) SInce Boost accept credit card > Voila you can earn many points ^O^
