Regarding using CC for cars. I've signed about RM 25k on Nissan, no charges at all, but they only allow Visa, not Amex. On another case, Mercedes allow Amex but they charge you 2%.

Maybank's treatment for their premium customers are getting quite bad nowadays.

I helped my spouse to apply for M2P via FD as we want to get the card ASAP for some expenses.

Put in FD early May, everything signed and deliver to them. Till today more than 2 weeks also no news.

When called in, was told a document was not signed. So much delay for such a simple matter sigh.

Just wondering if the trick of using CL to upgrade card is still valid now? I remember M2P requires 30k FD and what if my CL already exceeded this amount, can I request for this combo? Any success cases? If yes, care to share some tips?

I'm planning to request to increase my current CL which is near to 30k now with my latest 3 months' payslip, should be enough to reach 30k unless some hiccups happen.

If Maybank is now strictly following income or FD pledge, then I can forget it. In fact if 120k per annum, maybe I still can but 150k...

It is not worth to get the card if u spend below 80k per annum, if let say u spend 80k, and assume u spend all on Amex, the value u get back from the miles is just slightly more than RM800.

We dun bother how much the mile worth 1st,now we are comparing among all card in the market.This card is the  cheapest card to earn mile for Kris and Enrich.

compare to other Citibank premium mile ,you need to spend RM1.4 to earn 1 mile.
Maybank Kris AMEX RM2 earn 1 mile  ,if hit 60k/year,mile earned will be double up
