You, sir are a legend.

Gotta hand it to you...

I don't think anyone here would pay their bills in the denomination of RM 500 for 80 times. biggrin.gif

It's my company haha.. I'm just wondering if anyone would still pay with 3% surcharge.  Integration with Ipay88 - a 3% transaction fee for Amex,Visa,Master.
*
Better use Shopee if that desperate.

3% is to much sadly.

When they started, you need rm180k to qualify, or rm75k FD.....

A lot 'cheaper' now...
*
Times are bad. If got customer good la.

The annual spending is still quite high, not many would want to hold this card also.

yes, it's locked until you terminate your card....i asked, now requirement only 120k, my wife can qualify without the fd, can take out?....also cannot....in any case, will cut it in a year's time, next renewal, as will not have such high spendings anymore....
*
On technicality grounds, I have spoken to my RM for MBB and she did mentioned that if you can prove your income > 120k, MBB would release your FD back to you.

You can see it in the CCRIS report under unsecured loan. If you pledge FD for it, it would be at the secured loan portion.

I've yet to verify this piece of information however.

I needed a high cl for big item spendings at that time...

Thus, you have to deposit higher FD for a higher CL for the card laugh.gif

Just curious to ask existing M2P users.

I noticed that MBB World Mastercard's Treat points will not expire?

Since it's a Mastercard and it should be widely accepted, won't it accrued air miles faster for some expenses which can't be charged to M2P (Insurance and etc perhaps?)

The main stumbling block of this card is the uber high annual fee and waiver requirement of 120k per annum.

But you will have to fork out RM1k annual fee upfront as someone reported that this is not waive-able for the first year, unlike MBB Premier Cards.

*
Correct. Up front have to pay RM 1k first laugh.gif

However, that aside, now that M2P made insurance / utilities / gomen transactions 1X instead of 5X, the World Mastercard is quite a good substitute.

My question bout the expiry of the treat points however. They did not mentioned it will expire after 3 years laugh.gif

why not wait until the Annual Fee charged then ask for waiver?
maybe got chance to waive?

Unlikely to be waived.

Once I missed the threshold by few thousand.

Tried calling but was told no waiver would be granted laugh.gif

Learnt my lesson after that.

I have just sent one but receive no response/auto email.
Should I send one more time?

Wait up to 24 hours.

If no news, resend them that particular email.

Maybank's treatment for their premium customers are getting quite bad nowadays.

I helped my spouse to apply for M2P via FD as we want to get the card ASAP for some expenses.

Put in FD early May, everything signed and deliver to them. Till today more than 2 weeks also no news.

When called in, was told a document was not signed. So much delay for such a simple matter sigh.

Precisely.

That's why I asked the branch to find the letter.

Lucky they kept a copy and printed it out for me without the name to be filled by HQ apparently.

2 weeks later, no news still. Really facepalm.

I contacted my RM to help me screw the staffs from the another side.

Apparently the letter was sent to the branch dated 05th May 2017.

Nobody from branch bother to follow up....

So I did what a Malaysian would do. I complaint again..

laugh.gif

Hopefully by this Friday can collect from branch already....

Basically you can get 2 economy ticket for the miles requested for 1 business class.

Wondering if now Krisflyer is a better deal in terms of redemption or not.

Hey guys,

I'm wondering if there's anyone here from MBB Credit Sales Dept here?

I really want this card but I fail to meet the "Minimum annual income: RM120,000" requirement as my basic salary is low (expenses claims more than basic salary)

I've been a Maybank Visa Signature user for a while and I've been spending at least around MYR100k a year (paying on time too, only once 8 days lambat cause lupa bayar). I'll disclose my information if the MBB Credit Sales staff can help me.

Really hoping someone can see into my appeal and help me out, really need this card as I'm in the industry that requires me to treat/bring around/impress customers.

The complimentary golf is what I'm aiming for, not forgetting, the discount on dining and accommodation in starwood hotels

I don't really travel much, Visa Infinite is not for me..

Thanks guys.
*
Put in FD to match your existence credit limit to allow them to consider to offer you a Maybank premier.

If you're having Visa Signatures d, your salary should be almost 70k and above.

Just wondering if the trick of using CL to upgrade card is still valid now? I remember M2P requires 30k FD and what if my CL already exceeded this amount, can I request for this combo? Any success cases? If yes, care to share some tips?

I'm planning to request to increase my current CL which is near to 30k now with my latest 3 months' payslip, should be enough to reach 30k unless some hiccups happen. laugh.gif

If Maybank is now strictly following income or FD pledge, then I can forget it. In fact if 120k per annum, maybe I still can but 150k... hmm.gif sweat.gif
*
You can try tongue.gif

But for Premier card, it's usually income / FD in my experience.

I know you can get the VS with 20k limit. But I never heard of someone having a 30k limit and did not apply for the infinite getting the infinite ((Since MBB so cheapskate with CL, for sure they won't give you excessive unless your income is high / masuk FD )

The only really premium MBB card left is World Mastercard.

1k upfront AF and waiver only comes with an annual spending of RM 120,000.00

If you are earning RM 120,000.00, this is a hard figure to meet biggrin.gif

Don't see any significant benefit from the WMC, not worth the upfront 1k AF.

It's a mastercard.

Acceptance rate should be higher than the AMEX.

Plus there's an automatic hilton membership together with the card.

I find it acceptable, if I can spend 120,000.00 per year.
