Hmm, under 500 would be reasonable to me...
Is there any other 2 piece case other than those crazy hell expensive custom 60%?
*
Go for single piece cases much better. I'm using one currently and it's pretty damn solid.

Soo I'm contemplating between Topre Realforce 104UG or WSAD V2 104-Key Doubleshot PBT w/ Cherry MX Clear. I'm leaning toward WSAD but the KB is currently out of stock.

Any pointers on the two KB?

My work laptops/computers run Windows exclusively, and my personal computer is a macOS host w/ two Windows guests.

My main concern is whether I can use the Topre on both Windows and macOS. I'm currently offshore with a scarce Internet connection, and I have problem confirming if the keyboard works on both 100%.

Edit: Received a reply from David, and I quote

---
Thank you. We won’t be getting more PBT keycaps for a while, I don’t have an ETA on them, we will be getting more 104 Black keyboards, but not the PBT keycaps at the end of this month.
---

Damn.

guys need some suggestion, backstory I am unsatisfied of typing into the laptop keyboard at office while using mk at home, so i am planning to buy mk for office use, problem being my colleague dislike loud key clicking sound (meaning mx blue), so I noticed corsair cherry silent is around the market so here comes the question:
should I just buy a normal mk and stick some o-ring or the corsair keyboard (budget is not the main question here btw)

Tried the Topre Realfore the other day. It's just like a smoother rubber dome to me. Maybe it's just not me for me.

Try them both and decide.

I use Topre for work as it is a blast to type on.

My other mechanical keyboards are with Cherry MX brownswitches. I felt that this is better for gaming while still being very enjoyable to type on.

y no provide link for ppl lol

http://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/glori...-kailh-switches

this reminds me of Smart 68, one of the first modular/hot swap switch mkb.
previously i heard of issues with Smart 68 where the switch sometimes pulls out along when you attempt to remove the keycaps. sweat.gif

but this definitely looks damn sturdier. only thing that bothers me is, red smd led and full size keyboard lol!
