Learn dvorak is not hard. You die die learn, sure can learn it.
Take your job as an example, let's say you have a boss..
Your boss, send you to new dept for new task, at the end, you still need to learn that.
Because you want that job.

I learn dvorak typing for reduce fingers stress from RSI.
Dvorak won't get you faster, that's always a fake rumors. I don't think my typing speed increase as well. I always capped around 75 wpm only max.
I think a lot during type, write codes, and write emails.
You look at those 10fastfingers or other typing website. Fastest and top ranking always qwerty.

3. I have an uncontrolled urge to bring my MX Blue boards to work, but due to my working environment (non-cubicle, but is spaced, your colleague all can and hear what is going on at your place) so Im still hesitant on this, but maybe one day i cannot resist anymore and might get some O-rings and bring it to work

It won't deteriorate. Just don't dry them with heat or under the sun.

If you're desperate for speedier drying, wrap them in a few towels, put them in lingerie bag (please tell me you have females in your household or just buy RM5 one from Daiso) and put in washing machine for low cycle. Then on to next step.

Personally, I air dry in front of table fan with a towel underneath. Overnight the bitch and it'll be dryer than... well, it'll be dry enough.
