QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Mar 28 2016, 03:36 AM) What an interesting looking keyboard LOL too bad it doesn't have the numpad in my opinion, a mkb is always better than a gaming mkb i cant find the correlation idk why i just feel it that way peace (Y)I've seen people discussing online talking about other keyboards being better than the Corsair K70 but did not state their reason. Anyone have any opinion on that? The most common things I heard about the K70 are the LED burning out within 4 months and the keyboard dying within 3. |

Anyone here is using Royal Kludge RC930-87 keyboard?
I came across this particular topre-clone keyboard on massdrop and i found it is very interesting :3 I would really like to know the typing experience from any RC930-87 user here since this is my only option to own a 'topre' XD board |

QUOTE(tribaleps @ May 20 2016, 08:07 PM) I do own one...and it's my main at the moment. I have opted for the 55g version following comments that it resembles the 45g RF version. Wouldn't be able to compare it with a real topre, since I'm still on the lookout for one. Count me in if anyone wants to groupbuy it. Thank you very much for the good details The stock keycaps feels really cheap and suck, IMO. Perhaps I am used to the 'rough' surface feel of PBT blanks that I have grown very accustomed to. Backlights are cool, though not fully RGB and colors can be easily customised through a software which you can download. However, colors seemed bland. However, I'm not a big fan of backlights to begin with so they remain off for me the whole time. Initially, the feel was quite 'sandy', but after lubing the stems and critical contact points with Super Lube which you can get it from Ace Hardware, and putting on o-rings, the feel is a lot smoother and quieter (especially on the release) and the keyboard overall feels more solid with less free-play on the keys. No tactile feel like Browns. Note that the rubber dome is a single sheet unlike individual ones for each key like the RF, so you have to be very careful when separating it from the PCB to get to the stems. The springs fell out and I spent a lot of time putting them back on to their respective slots on the rubber dome sheet. I have also stuffed the case with a non-slip mat, just to make the case sturdier. No creaks now when you try to twist it. Case is still much lighter than the FILCO. IMO, not a board you would wanna open up very frequently. No detachable USB cable....but I'm not too bothered with that. Able to achieve 10-15 more wpm with it compared to my other boards - Cherry MX brown, black and blue (the slowest) switches. Overall, quite pleased with it. I got mine from Taobao...paid something like RM350 for it with shipping. Hope this helps. Btw, for the lubing, is this the part you put on the lube Attached image(s) |

QUOTE(jasmineivan @ Aug 21 2016, 02:59 PM) I feel like getting myself another collection, which is also supposed to be my new daily keyboard. Last time i went to Ultimate Zone at JAYA One, they have one ducky kb with mx green. Not sure what model but i think its non backlitDidn't buy any ducky as I already owned a steelseries 7g and Razer blackwidow since long time ago. Recently tried a ducky with cherry MX green. It feel awesome. It doesn't feel like so heavy as 70-80 g at all though. The tactile feel is as good as blue, but not flimsy like blackwidow. Btw, any recommendation if want something like this: Cherry MX green Very SOLID keyboard 60% or tkl , ordinary use + some casual gaming Non backlit is preferred, because I wish to exchange the some blank pbt keycap in graphite color, unless it come default will be awesome |

QUOTE(hooh888 @ Aug 23 2016, 01:33 PM) Hi guys, would like to get recommendation for mechanical keyboard, been using the Ducky G2 Pro Blue Grey (Full Layout, Cherry MX Blue), planning to use this for office and get new one for home use. Please give me some suggestions based on the following criteria and I'll look for reviews: If i were you, i would rather go for any non backlit mkb like ducky zero (the cheapest), ducky one or filco and invest RM100-200 for nice ass keycaps since the RM600 is quite a lot for me1. Full layout 2. MUST use Cherry MX Blue switches (no Kailh or any other types please) 3. MUST use standard sized keycaps 4. Any profile is fine as I would like to try others too 5. RGB LED or completely no LED 6. No preference to any brand 7. Budget: less than RM600 if possible, max RM800 |
