that mysafe years ago already start but only for kid toys for merchant who want sell toys at malaysia,they need register MC sticker and proot those toys material is safe for kid...but i don know why start this year they list figure in toys also blink.gif ...kastam said if shipping 1 box got more then 1 pcs figure need go mysafe do report (but 1 pcs no need don know why lol hmm.gif )but soft toys (fabric material )no need do report...

OMG this might be the worst parcel that Ive ever gotten yet....pretty sure amiami is to be blame...

Man I trusted their service for many years but seeing them disappointing me like this doesnt feels good at all..
The thing is this is bound to happen and least you could do is making sure to stuff the box fully with the recycled paper to make sure the recycled paper absorbed the impact from being pressed by the outer box

guys shud I write a complaint letter to amiami's customer support?

Well the box is gone, now it depends on whether the figurine inside is affected.

If its not, and you dont care about the box (i.e. you will be displaying the figure) then its not s bad...

Well from the pictures, it seems that the damage occurs from the bottom of the shipper box (correct me if I'm wrong).

My experience with AmiAmi is that they don't really pad the bottom and the top of the shipper box enough to protect the item from impact/damage , hence there is always a chance that the item is damage (from the top or bottom impact) during transit. Your best bet is for the courier handling your package being prudent enough to handle the package diligently.

Did you shipped via SAL or EMS? or was it by way of DHL?

If i dont care about the box I wouldnt be complaining that much...feels sad, luckily the figurine is not destroyed

via EMS, the damage is on the top, I dont have high hope for our post office to handle the package diligently at all...

yikes that sucks. which figure is that and what is the box size? is it the 120size? in my case they always use bigger box size so that they can stuff the paper around the figure box and on top of the box so this is news to me. tbh i'm scared to see this since i'm expecting a lot of package from them. i prefer my figure box to be in a good condition so i feel you. i suggest you contact them, their customer support is very reliable.

its the 1/4 scathach Sashi Ugatsu Bunny Ver. , I know their customer support is reliable but I am not sure what to ask from them though...

oh she's a 1/4 bunny, so that's why there is barely any space in the box. i think they should've went for bigger size box like they usually do. i'm guessing they probably don't have enough box right now due to the pandemic. since they're keeping all those unshipped SAL boxes in their warehouse. replacing just the figure box is unlikely but they will probably give you the option to send back the figure for a replacement or a full refund.

I just did some research and if there are damage to the figure then u can initiate the insurance compensation process. This require u to bring the box back to the local post office for inspection and asking our POS malaysia to initiate this process as evidence to send to amiami for compensation

Then there is this excerpt from Amiami website's FAQ

u didnt write it wrong, the scathach bunny version is not original design from FREEing but rather a parody created by the original character designer
hence there is a 1/7 version by alter & a 1/4 version by FREEing

Thid looks like my stuff when I buy from taobao. I really wouldn't have expected them to be like this. Was this item detained by kastam?

I am thinking of only buying from Big in Japan and Solaris now

have you ever bought figures from BIJ and Solaris? i'm thinking of ordering from them but i'm not sure if they're okay. i've heard good things about them tho.

what I learnt is that I should have inspect the package when I am at the post office on the spot with post officer to access the damage of the package..
well next time I need to do that before taking the package home

Alot of claim need us to inspect the item with the courier present, which is kinda ridiculous.

Thats why alot of ppl is doing unboxing videos these days. Another way of documenting/evidence, better then none.

I started doing that for fragile stuff like those selangor pewter crystal/glass items...

guys, if you can delay your purchases, do. shipping is basically down to flinging stuff around these days. almost all the boxes of my stuff received during this period has seen some damage or another, especially those overseas packages. with the lockdowns, the entire system is overwhelmed so yeah, stuff gets thrown about is the new norm. if pristine boxes is your thing, don't risk it.
