wait what you don't unbox your figures? why
*
Either cause I'm too lazy or I dont really have a space ot display them.... i keep telling myself once i move to the new place (with ample display area) then I will unbox them... well.. thats the general idea..

guys, if you can delay your purchases, do. shipping is basically down to flinging stuff around these days. almost all the boxes of my stuff received during this period has seen some damage or another, especially those overseas packages. with the lockdowns, the entire system is overwhelmed so yeah, stuff gets thrown about is the new norm. if pristine boxes is your thing, don't risk it.
*
I felt bad dropping orders so i kept my order in nipponyasan and paid for it back on 1st July. Until today havent ship and messages went unanswered.

Aniplex's Ereshkigal released on April 24th and was already in my hands by mid May, and i pushed out her photos in early June. Altyer's bunny Scathach released on 9th July and current already on the way to my door step - expecting her early next week. Both are from taobao.

As a content creator and photographer I sit by watching Japanese photogs release their photos within 3 days after product release and I have to wait months to be able to photograph it? Each week i delay my photos of a new productm i lose more potential audience on my page, instagram, etc because people want to see new stuff. Im so fking done with Japan this year. Any orders that releases within this year i will FFK all of it.

i'm guessing NY is pretty backed up with orders rn.

as a fan of your work i can assure you i don't mind waiting at all bc your work is worth waiting for. if you're losing followers bc of this, i'm not even sure if they're your true fans. i can tell that a large amount of effort went into each diorama set and you can't get that kind of result if you rush into it.

Gotta agree on this. People want to see new/latest stuff, maybe to decide to buy or not etc. So pushing out new content early will always draw more hits especially for new comers who doesnt know you. Once they see yoru work maybe they will get hooked and be a fan/sub. Not being able to generate more new traffic would limit the growth of your fanbase.

Hi guys, just a bit curious, so I found out that goods above RM 500 will be taxed and check by customs (due to my Nakiri Erina figurine being held by customs currently.)

I did pre-ordered some figurines in one lump sum, which are this, this and this quite a while back. Looking back, since the goods will obviously be more than RM 500, customs will check the parcel correct? I am kinda concerned on the Satsuki figma, does it fall under NSFW category? Just worried that it may get confiscated, since Kill la Kill is kinda fanservicey.

have you ever bought figures from BIJ and Solaris? i'm thinking of ordering from them but i'm not sure if they're okay. i've heard good things about them tho.
*
Sorry for the late response. I've bought from BiJ before, but shipped locally to Japan, I POed a figure with them shipping to Malaysia but it's not released yet. Their packaging seems ok and they're willing to undervalue.

You'll receive a notice when it's detained and then go to the kastam office mentioned to pay taxes. That figure isn't really NSFW so I think you should be fine.

I'm keen to know the box condition when it arrives from taobao. Are you using taobao shipping or agent?

Think you are fairly safe on the NSFW issue, those that get detained were much much worse (something I wont display with my kids around).

Ah alright. Because of customs check and NSFW thingy, I had to cancel a preorder for this figurine, just really worried that if I do order it, customs will pretty much confiscate it, since it's kinda in the lewd territory.

Hello guys,

I plan to buy a NSFW figure by Native (this figure blush.gif )
From what I read, most of the item kena tahan if price above RM500.
If I ask the seller to undervalue the package, will the figure pass the custom?

i think you're good. that satsuki isn't lewd at all, just sexy. if i'm not mistaken they will most likely confiscate nsfw lewd native figures.

oh nice. let me know the condition of your package when it arrives in Malaysia. i'm considering undervaluing with them but it's hard to tell if the figures can actually pass kastam. 1/7 boxes are pretty big.
