To Smart Frequency Consultants aka Smart Frequency Guru,

You have pitch a very interesting PM to me and I suppose if you are really serious about this, you might want to post this here.

Unfortunately, I do not agree with you on all your 3 points Hybrid Radio. Though I know that model is a very good radio, you might need to study what is Ham Radio or what actually Ham Radio sets can do nowadays.

However giving you the benefit of doubt, lets see how well your "guru"ness will fair in this forum.

The examples on the videos posted on this "guru" website also misleading .. amateur radio operator in Malaysia has callsign started with 9W or 9M and not PR .. and the so-called police communication is actually a DBKL one .. hmm.........

Hi All,

Just got my callsign last month... can I join the group here...

Will be getting my 1st mobile rig FT8800R tomorrow. Coming from S'pore... Any suggestion on which dual-bander antenna good for this rig... QTH KL, so I'm considering two type antenna, 1 short for town mobilising and long for outstation... probably sbb3 or SG7000 for in town... CSB7500 or SG7500 for out town...

any other suggestion?

...........

Yeah should move it to HobbiesCollectiblesandModelKits. Saw a lot of replica airsoft guns infront of my hotel in hongkong. Only if we are allowed to bring that back then got handy with gun. CSI wannabe go 7/11 look for problem whistling.gif
