Hi All,
Just got my callsign last month... can I join the group here...
Will be getting my 1st mobile rig FT8800R tomorrow. Coming from S'pore... Any suggestion on which dual-bander antenna good for this rig... QTH KL, so I'm considering two type antenna, 1 short for town mobilising and long for outstation... probably sbb3 or SG7000 for in town... CSB7500 or SG7500 for out town...
any other suggestion?

QUOTE(ruth @ Dec 1 2009, 09:00 PM) uh..now 2-3 shop selling radios.mixed stuff, branded and China 'mali'.Can go and have a look, but the price isn't cheap...from my view. Last week trip, saw this Wouxun Dual Bander V/U 'the one that we discuss' price? RM998 Also in the E-Mart Complex, please detour in there. Can 'cuci mata' only....... he..he have fun Are you talking about Wouxun KG-UVD1P dual-bander, dual watch HT?... RM998 is damn expensive... this HT is damn good though... I have two sets of this handy beside my FT8900R... I give this handy 5 stars... with the price, which is less than RM600, but the functionality is as good as the branded expensive HT... I have a friend who sell this less than RM600.... 9W2YAI

QUOTE(kaikon @ Dec 7 2009, 03:29 PM) 5 stars ? How long have you been using this boss? I am a bit weary of china mali sets but I see them improving. I have been using them for close to 4 months already... Just google for this model and you will find a lot of reviews of it.... Wouxun was founded in 2000... I think it is more established than puxing...
