About the oats do you have to cook them or just add the milk etc. only? [Yeah stupid question but when I go to the aisle in the supermarket am so confused cos of the different types they have]. I know there's cooked oats, rolled oats, quick cooking oats .. some others .. so which one to get?

Whey protein .. should I start in with these - even if I have loads of fat to lose and don't do such hardcore lifting?

For the instant oats, u can just add in hot water if u don't have much time to cook but IMO it doesn't really taste nice so I still prefer to cook it.

Before this, I used to prepare oats using microwave but doesn't taste nice. Kinda like overcooked. I cook it with water, HL milk and honey. Taste much better and I am addicted to it. thumbup.gif tongue.gif

I get the instant ones. Never try rolled oats before but am thinking of getting rolled oats after finishing the instant oats.

You can add in whey protein in ur diet to bump up your daily protein intake but try to take real food whenever possible. Nothing beats real food.

Sometimes I do that too, mix (instant) oats with whey, put in microwave for 1 minute. Or just plain oats with hot water, and chuck a banana in it. All these for pre-workout only.

losing 8kg may not too impressive, but losing 8kg of pure fat is a great achievement rclxms.gif
