QUOTE(khaiwern88 @ Apr 7 2016, 01:35 AM) Hello guys. Recently im facing with this istop problem. istop only works when car fully stop with seat belt on, full press on break pedal.Fuel economy monitor shows that my aircond and engine is already on ready mode for istop. but battery is still un-ready. Asked some forum-ers. they told me to put on seat belt. i always put on but the problem still doesnt solve. but blimey, you dont need istop. better off the function to prolong battery life. |

OR, u can just shift to N and it will be activated. but blimey, you dont need istop. better off the function to prolong battery life. the max that i can get out of iStop is just 1 min 59 seconds, im looking for a way to permanently off it without having to do it manually every time i start my car |

QUOTE(nictf @ Apr 7 2016, 12:01 PM) im looking for a way to permanently off it without having to do it manually every time i start my car There are 3 ways :The known way : Get a new fresh battery and plug it in (actually, any other car battery other than the current one whether new or old). The ECU/PCM will recognise that and will show up as a "fault code" with the orange istop indicator constantly on. There's a process of setting for the ECU/PCM required everytime there's a change of battery. See their official manual here : https://euroesi.mazda.co.jp/esicont/eu_eng/...17h5800900.html The unsure way : Unplug the battery terminal and wait for 15 minutes or more. Maybe everything will reset and the possible issue i stated above may happen. The "maybe" way : Go to Mazda and ask the technician whether they know how to disable using their Mazdaedit software. |

QUOTE(wkc5657 @ Apr 7 2016, 01:49 PM) There are 3 ways : I knew a driver that placed a small bracket at the side of the button. It triggers to deactivate the istop when starting the car. Kind of like you holding it down to deactivate the istop function. The known way : Get a new fresh battery and plug it in (actually, any other car battery other than the current one whether new or old). QUOTE(minglibing @ Apr 7 2016, 07:47 PM) Hi, anyone tried using a USB car charger in a Mazda 3 Skyactive? I'm currently using this. It fits but I think I'm gonna damage the cable soon cos the armrest cover presses down on it when closed.I'm a bit worried about not being able to close the armrest after plugging it in since the socket is located quite near the top, but I hope I'm just being paranoid. Thank you I'm considering these two: edit: the samsung will be too long. xiaomi would fit no problem. ![]() This post has been edited by tbcheese: Apr 7 2016, 08:35 PM |

Oh no I don't mean the sides clipping the cable. In fact, even without the notch, the gap is large enough the cable can fit out the sides with room to spare. It's the USB cables that extends upwards (especially the more rigid cables or those with longer heads) into the recessed area in the cover. When you close the cover, it will push the cable back down and it bends near the connector. |

Since we're talking about USB chargers for the 12V socket, do you face the situation when you plug in to charge your phone, the static/interference noise on the radio increases significantly?
Mine have this situation and most of the time I mute the radio when I plug the USB charger into the 12V socket to charge my phone. For the record, I'm using Belkin brand. |
