Hey guys, wondering how the i-stop work, coz usually when im waiting at traffic lights, i will jz pt N and pull hand-brake, then i-stop will kick in, and sumtimes jz within a few secs engine will reignite itself without me doin anything. I thought the engine will only reignite if there is any feedbac from the driver as in gear changes, handbrake lifted and so on?

just changed stock toyo tires to yokohama AE50 225 40 18 tyres, road noise improved so much! now within acceptable road noise level, grips also better than stock! quite a surprise, better grip and lesser noise..

no bro.. it depends on battery conditions, engine temperature and ur car indoor temperature.. most of the time when engine starts again is due to temperature rises inside of ur car, when i stop kicks in, aircond will stop running, only the blower is on.. try setting the car aircond temperature to higher and see, istop will last longer, and it lasts longer at nigh or rainy days...

400+- per pcs bro, price is quite reasonable concerning the grips and noise created. coz 225 40 18 less flex during cornering, but ofcoz very bumpy haha.. yet it look sportier thumbup.gif

Turn off aircond. U'll see a very long period of engine off - around 30-45s

I'm using Llumar Diamond 6. Last time when I installed the price was around 1.8k ~ 2k included GST around 8 months ago.

For me the Llumar Diamond 6 are okay only.. The heat reduction not really as good as V-KOOL cause my previous ride was using V-KOOL Elite.

And you must aware of this, if you never used any security film before, after installing security film that are 4mil or 6mil above.. You'll noticed that it's slightly a bit blur and it's not as clear as non-security film due to it's thickness.

If possible, just get 4mil as it's already good enough to prevent 1 hit snatching thieves.

Above are just my opinion, your decision are finale notworthy.gif

Is it OK to mix front and back tyres with ori spec and non-ori spec or you need to change all 4 tyres?

Thanks for your advise bro. I previously use 4mil llumar security Film. Don't notice any blur effect lol. Maybe my senses not refined. Lol

So you recommend just the 4mil? But that tser only 45 percent. Diamond 6 is 59 percent. Price difference is just 300 ringgit hmm.
How much is VKool elite?

No problem bro.

If you're used to 4mil then maybe you can try 6mil cause shouldn't be much differ since you're already used to 4mil film.

Can't really recall the price for V-KOOL Elite cause that was 5 or 6 years ago sweat.gif

Are you sure you want the hatchback? It's like paying the price for the HS but getting the GL specs for the hatchback.
