Ambank exactly 1 month ago and i got mine for 2.75% and immediately after 1 week it become 3%
*
i applied with ambank right before cny and got 2.74% haha. other bank cimb gimme 3% and maybank gimme 3.05%
my loan approved and will get my new car soon!

and guys, i am thinking of what window tint to use for the car. what are u guys using and what spec?

i am driving 2010 mazda3 right now, and last time when i was looking to do tinting they say dont get >5mil tints coz might cause the power windows to fail.
in the end i went with llumar 4mil security film.

i asked for llumar again, coz i used it for 6 years and its damn good.. no issues.
the specs

Model: T4-50
VLT: 50%
TSER: 45%
IR reject:90%
uv reject: 99%
thickness: 4mil

my concern is that the TSER is only 45%. price is around rm1.8k

SA also recommend a brand called Sahara. similar price but 5mil with tser of 70%. i dont know if this is a reputable brand and if they just bullshitting on the TSER.

what are your inputs? please share with me what tint you guys use?

is the rotation included balancing & alighment ? or else why charging MYR80?

so far what is the good SC other than Sg Besi?
although i sent my car for 1k service at Sg Besi and it's done within 1 hour, but there was oily mark everywhere in my car - start button, driver door panel & arm rest
*
Just feedback it direct to the SC's owner.

lucifal pls make sure this doesn't happen again. Or if it happen again, what should we do?

When you say NVH refinement is really bad what cars are you comparing with? Have you driven an Avanza before? Now, that's what I would call really bad NVH but no complaint because it is a cheap car. My M3's NVH is far better than an Avanza but of course can't compare with Merc or Lexus. Compared to a Civic or Altis I would say it is only slightly noisier in road noise but doesn't lose in wind noise and engine noise. I wouldn't say the M3's NVH is "really bad" compared to other cars in its class. It doesn't deserve this sort of comment.

Sometimes people pick on a slightly poorer comparision and turn it into a mob bashing beyond reality. Like the back seat space of the M3 has been bashed so much by those who don't own the car that it gives you the impression that adults can't sit comfortably at the back. This is just not true from my personal experience.

Guys,

I so miss my M3..!

I didn't drive my M3 since 6th Feb T.T

One of the tires has punctured and I find it hard to replace one. I have been calling many suppliers and workshop, all of them very hard to get replacement.

Just like most of you all, I am using original size, 215/45/18.

Now I have three options:

(A) Keep on searching for one, but can't drive my car.

(B) Change to 225/45/18. (What's the effect?)

© Downgrade to 17". (What's the effect?)

Thanks a lot! Need suggestions from you guys..

Cheers,
D.

(b) and © will kacau the speed/FC iinm. Coz by default its been tuned to specific rotation radius. But not gonna kacau by much. My prev car was using diff size depan blkg and the speedometer will be off by 5-10km/h when i reach beyond 120km/h. At lower speed the diff is too small cant see any diff. I compared with my garmin gps and my phone gps speed.

Also rmbr if u wanna change diff profile tyre, change the other on same axle

Thanks! smile.gif

I thought downgrading to 17" will actually better response, better performance (as lighter), and better FC. No?

If I change to 225, it gonna be heavier isn't? Will it affect my overall car performance and FC?

Thanks! smile.gif

Use this to calculate. I would choose option b. I read anything less than 5 percent is acceptable.

So.. Choose option b for all 4 tyres. Trade in your 3 tyres since quite new

My 2010 m3 cbu also came with a funny size Coz Toyo tyre. End up I chose a lower profile and wider tyre. Been using the same size for 4 years ( changed my Toyo after 2 years. )

Thanks for the link.

My car already run for 40,000km. So I will change the all the tires if needed.

Looks like option B is better choice.

A. sadly, i got a friend's tyre buldging, so he change all 4, but he sold the rest to other member. I suggest can try find 2nd same tyres, then only change 1 shot if budget is constraint

B. change all 4 to 225/45/18, depending on the tyre, it may be more stickier to the road.

C. this is the same option for me, using 215/50/17. honestly, it doesnt looks tht good as compare to 18" wheels & handling nt as good as previous. i would suggest to change to 225/45/17.

at the end of the day, most impt to choose a good tyre if budget allows

My GL 2015 16" punctured and replaced from Toyo R38 to Toyo R3. The tyre shop said it's the nearest to the original already.

Maybe I'm doesn't have good understanding in tyre and I just believe him. lol
