nah, as long as it can kodi just fine then it is good enough. I have raspberry pi 1b and despite its limited processing power, I still find it pretty usable(although if I have the money I will go for 3b though laugh.gif )

Both errors are expected.. The hypptv box is a weak android box, designed primarily for TM's IPTV service.. Want more, need to get a proper android box.

QUOTE(wcypierre @ Mar 6 2016, 11:32 PM)
it is because flash is not installed. I've not tried it though, because I use it for Kodi. You can try and install Adobe Flash or Dolphin browser and see if it works.
*
Try using this way to installed iflix, Flash Player, YouTube and Dolphin Browser,
(Using .apk)

- iflix = work
- Flash Player = not sure it work or not
- YouTube = failed, still cannot load videos
- Dolphin Browser = works, but still failed to load YouTube's videos.

Conclusion,

Guess that I need to give up to make YouTube work already. mega_shok.gif

-foc call to local line and any mobile line
-foc chinese channels (which i don't bother watch)

Thx to all for the replies. Looks like I don't have a choice but to go for the P-1 or YES which will most prob drive me up the wall.

Wonder if anyone have any info on their svs at Ukay Perdana, Ampang area?

Haha, your case is even worse.. The carrot is being dangled in front of you..  tongue.gif. Welcome to TM logic..

P.S.... On a more serious note, maybe it's cuz even & odd numbered houses are on opposite sides.. Allocated insufficient yet equal amount of ports to houses on both sides, then less ppl subscribed on one side than the other.. Making... What... I give up trying to figure it out..  smile.gif

I was offered for this package as well.
Currently using 10Mb (10Mb upload + 10Mb download) unifi for RM169 + 6% (not limited to contract duration)

I am not going for the offered package because of the RM209 after the contract. Furthermore, 10Mb is sufficient for me and my wife.

Unless you are downloading a lot of things and there are many users sharing the line, i find it not worth.

IMO, accept the offer if the following are important to you;

*6x current download speed.
*Free 600 call minutes per month.
*Have the Chinese pack switched to another or just accept it for the free hypptv channels.
*Do not mind paying extra RM30 monthly for the above. I believe VIP5 is RM149..?
*Dont think so much about the price readjustment in 2 years as newer packages are rumored to be released before then. So you can change.

yes, current 5mb package is rm149+6% excluding calls, my parents use the phone to call out and add up monthly bill around rm160-165.

with the offer, it is rm179+6% which is fixed at rm189.74, i.e. additional rm25-30.

2 years down the road, surely new package will be offered and can later revise to continue with it with original price.

5mb to 30mb is a big jump for me.. thumbup.gif

still considering ups and downs on this offer.. any other competitor good to consider?

UniFi down since Friday mad.gif mad.gif

Went home on Friday night only to see DSL light is completely OFF, meaning all services down! vmad.gif vmad.gif

Called TM to report that night itself. Next day, called again to enquire, no news, say will escalate it. Then on Sunday morning, I called again and this time was told of a cable cut affecting multiple customers!!! mad.gif mad.gif

This morning went to condo management office & was told that TM's contractors were doing cable upgrading last week, which they completed on Friday, and yes, it was Friday when my UniFi was down since mad.gif mad.gif

This is NOT the first time. In November, same thing happened, TM's contractors did some infrastructure upgrade and accidentally cut cables that serve more than 50 customers. And it took them at least 5 days to restore service!!! How long more do I need to wait this time??? mad.gif mad.gif

What router are you using? Test with wifi or cable? If you're not too far away, even stock UniFi router can give 30mbps.

1. That source isn't legit from TM and it's from 2013. So disregard..
2. My previous post was from recent personal experience. So unless TM has suddenly changed protocol (highly doubtful). I see no reason why they have to collect the equipment back for a move. Now, if it was a service termination? Then yes, one has to return the equipment as its owned by TM. Technically, we are renting it. Yes.. Shocker..  biggrin.gif

Don't sweat it, just arrange with TM about the move, set an appointment date for the technician to drop by.. All will be taken care of. Usually, they'll come with an extra set of hardware, just in case any piece in the current set isn't playing nice.. In that case, if still within your warranty period, they'll replace on the spot for free.

I take your advice and stop worrying so much about it. Thank you so much!! rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Well, i need to cut off the fibre connecting to the BTU.

I experience the problem just now. This page takes time to load and failed. I had to restart my router and btu and I can experience the good loading speed now.
