Using speedfan, you need to set a few parameters before you can start controlling your fans.

Copper color means made out of copper lor... : laugh.gif

i mean look at the bottom part of ur intel stok cooler and see in the middle wat color is it?that simple.Usually if it copper core the stock cooler can accomodate cooling the proc but at ear splitting desibel laugh.gif

so IMO y not investing just a few cents for 3rd party cooler.im also was a bit skeptical haiya spend a lot of money edi need to buy HSF for wat?hehe then the pc start shutting down itself and temp too hot...so no choice buy aftermarket cooler.yes it was expensive for as a student that time but manage to use the bloody proc till now icon_rolleyes.gif

Yes when u buy after market heatsink they do comes with heatsink but bare in mind it isnt the BEST!
just fork out extra rm25 for a performance paste and see ur temp drop when it fully "COOKs" brows.gif

Its just plain math see ,Performance Heatsink + Performance Thermal paste = ?

Of coz la GOOD COOLING solution icon_rolleyes.gif

also LESS moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif moneyflies.gif

but ur PROC lives longer thumbup.gif

Does anybody here got any problem with AMD 64 X2 4000+ reading temperature? I'm using Biostar Hardware Monitor software its stated my CPU 29'C, and this after I pump up 0.12V = (1.344V) with 2.87Ghz

Its seems a bit off, since my room only have ceilling fan. any suggestion on how to fix this?
