im getting the same thing too with my speedfan after upgrading my rig... havent installed the mobo hardware monitor yet though (PC Probe II) but for my office rig (cheapo MSI LGA775 mobo) i have to run the MSI monitor first...then only speedfan can detect correct values. so ill have 2 hardware monitors running simultaneously. could be i need to install PC PRobe II first for speedfan to NOT go psychotic |

It would be better with the PC-Probe and do remember to get the latest version ....
coz it would be more accurate and less stability issue... |

Get a CoolerMasterElite and add on with one 12cm fan ,,,,
There u go one of the cheapest dual 12cm fan's case .... Btw the case cost only RM110 .. so add up a case fan RM20 to RM30.. In total it would be RM150 only .... |

that kinda temp is kinda a norm huh? already oc and is your com in an non-ac room? changing to a 3rd party cooler or improving your casing air flow should help.

QUOTE(Irresistible @ Jul 27 2007, 03:26 PM) Galaxy Graphic card 8500 GE ( Factory OVerclocked ), Idle tempeature 64C, load 74C. any idea ? Guide to reduce the temp ? Basically in ur case there's nth much could be done coz the card being OC too much by manufacturer... Using Galaxy Stok Fan !! The best option is to change to third party heatsink .. Artic Cooling S2 which is compatible with 8500 series... Apart from that, make sure there's aiflow movement within the case .. product Link Here |

QUOTE(KrsNIK @ Jul 30 2007, 07:56 PM) That must be a Pentium 4 520 i think.Since it's a Pentium 4 2.8GHz LGA775. It's using a prescott core. [A.K.A. PresHOTT] Pentium 4 processors shouldn't go that far even on stock heatsink. IINM, it should be in the area of 45 - 48 on idle. Perhaps there's a problem with your casing airflow. Or maybe your stock heatsink is clugged with a lot of dust. Mind taking a picture on the internal of your rig so that we can advise you on what to do next? |
