ermm there is alwaz the heatsink data collection thread u can go thru and fine the most suitable heatsink that suites ur needs.btw i think xp120 or xp90c shud do the job if ur on stock@non OC also if ur OC as well.also xp120 is default heatsink for s478 so no need to buy those adapter only need to fine a good CFM also silent since u want silent setup.just a suggestion.u can ask sHaWty for futher advice since he change his HSF like his undies so he knows which HSF is good and bad.bro sHawty jgn mara jk only icon_rolleyes.gif

if u could get hold onto any...Thermalright XP-120 ....

or

Just get thermalright P4 478 retention kit ..

Then u could use few of the thermalright cooler on ur board....such as HR-01 sreies and Ultra-120 series ...

Probelm probably lies in your casing airflow. When you're rig is without casing the temps are okay and rises 20 degrees in the casing.

You could either manage your cables properly. If the cables is not the problem but the casing has bad airflow, the only choice for better temps is by changing your casing.

Arctic Cooling S1 doesn't work well with high CFM fans.
There won't be any differences at all even if u use high speed fans.
It's better to use mid-silent fans with it.

If you're long enough in air cooling heatsink, then you'll know why.
Any heatsink doesn't matter CPU or GPU heatsink that is originally made for passive mode won't work well with high CFM fans.

Examples: Scythe Ninja, Thermalright HR-01

So, don't waste your ear drum for hearing the noisy fans. laugh.gif

hahhah ,, you are really right bro ...

@bryanyeo87

You could verify with sHawTY also for the S1 since he's selling as well ..

but from most of the review laying around in the internet ... the performance is really absolutely no doubt ...

i know, i read the reviews on the net too lol...but accelero s1 with the turbo modules are performing worse then zalman vf900cu?? o.0"" and CM coolviva pro beats zalman vf900cu....

so i concluded that:

accelero s1 < zalman vf900 < CM coolviva pro

but those are reviews...maybe they got bribed to promote CM =/

Edit: I forgot to mention, my gpu has only 2 mounting holes, like 6600gt punya 2 mounting holes.

aiyak sorry ace =p, like styloe said, u could try TR SI97 or get a higher cfm fan to fit the heatsink... or is ur casing having good airflow?

so any feedbacks on the accelero s1 (with turbo module) < zalman vf900 < CM coolviva pro? =b
