Hmm...
This shouldn't be true.

As my previous Pentium D 820 runs at 65degrees on idle on stock cooling with intel stock thermal paste. rclxub.gif

When i change the heatsink to Noctua NH-U12F, the temps goes as low as 40degrees. That means 20 degrees differences compared to stock intel heatsink.

I wonder what's the problem with your system. hmm.gif

that's hot.... shocking.gif
i think u better reapply again the thermal compound, or u need to make some cables arrangement inside ur case...
My previous prescott, maximum idle temp was only 45C, not matter how hot the weather, but normally will only run at around 40C... Full load will be 57-60C...

Hey guys, could use some help.

Firstly, i'm running a positive airflow pressure, is this better than a negative pressure?

My rig is in my siggy.

All my fans are Evercool Spider (air filter), here's my current setup :

80mm Upper Side Intake
80mm Rear Intake
Silverstone Strider ST400W PSU 120mm Outtake (top of case)

Temperatures i'm getting are (based on Speedfan):

temp1 - 38c
temp2 - 34c
temp3 - 43c
hd0 - 40c
hd1 - 40c

Is that ok?

I'm planning to add on a 120mm Intake Front and then changing the rear fan to 92mm OUTAKE. What do u guys think

Okay this is may not look like a problem but it is. My room temp idles at 25C the time temp of CPU taken.

The problem now is my CPU temps is 22C blink.gif

Thats almost impossible. It's a e6320 at stock speed and with thermalright ultra-120 extreme. Currently formating the hdd so can't check with core temp but reading was from bios cpu health. My 965p-ds3 comes loaded with F10 bios.

Btw the thermalright ultra-120 extreme is running fanless but gets air directly from the rear of my Lian Li a05.

hahha ...DS3 is never accurate with the temperature reading ...

I had always suspect my old DS3 temperature reading ...

It's always too low to be true... throw that board away and get a DFI Dark Infinity ...

It's a better buy .... hhaha just suggestion don't take it too personally ..

Never came across the V-droop on this mobo before.

P35-DS3P more expensive la. This mobo is value for money with performance at the same time!

That's ur load or idle temp bro .... ??

If it's ur idle speed then it's definitely hot .. while if it's ur load temp it still consider hot .... but still on the safe side ..

btw can u specify ur P4 is which type?? The temperature of different types generates different heat level...
