No.That's pretty high IMO.
U should replace the northbridge heatsink and you'll got a lower temp for your motherboard temps.
Normally motherboard temps is identified as northbridge temps.

@ Doom,
What's the temp for the GTS while the GTS is in PC-A10 & after you move to PC-G7? And mine to state the temps for the processor, NB, and your GTS while you're using PC-A10 and after swapping it into PC-G7? |

Well, two users of LL PC-A10 proves that the PC-A10 suffers from fresh intake for the GFX, it's up to others to believe it. And this is why i switch my dream casing from PC-A10 to V1200B Plus II! |

And mine to state the temps for the processor, NB, and your GTS while you're using PC-A10 and after swapping it into PC-G7? the margin is slightly more when it's in air cond room ..which would be around 4c compare to using A10.. |

My SpeedFan and Everest Home Edition shows CPU temp around 10C, is it possible because I find it too low. I didn't use any WC or CPU cooler, just stock HSF

That's why I seek for consultation here. Same thing I was wondering about other than the temp reading. Is it because of the software? Or the hardware?
The core displays my graphic card. Try comparing with Everest |

I didn't use any WC or CPU cooler, just stock HSF i think sometimes SpeedFan show us an error reading.last time it shows my cpu temp as 110C even im not OC at all.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ anyway i got a problem here. last night i managed to oc my x2 until 2.7ghz.. CPU Freq = 270 x 10 = 2700MHz DDR = DDR900 4-4-4-12 Vcore = 1.675v (damn high) Vdimm = 1.48v (ok for micron i think) * no changes made for chipset and HTT's voltage. and guess what, my proc's temperature already reached 70C.. i took out the HyperTX, cleaned up the accumulated dust, applied much more AS5, then the temperature still high, but didnt reach 70C lor..(but it still high rite?) so besides changing my cooling parts, what should i do? and if i need to change, can suggest me the good cpu heatsink? - budget = rm200 (max) - copper is better - can fit 12cm fan (if can ft 2x12cm front and rear oso good) - if can, the fan is already bundled and its good to lowering my temp hope can help me with these. thanks This post has been edited by kalakatu: Apr 4 2007, 08:43 PM |

hmm RM 200 maybe u could grab Cooler Master Gemini that can fit dual 12cm fan ...
or thermalright cooler Utra-120, HR-01 and Nortua ... the cheapest one will be HR-01 .. around RM150 added with a nice 12cm fan would cost u around RM180 ... i like that cooler as works well in tight case environment ... |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Apr 8 2007, 07:35 AM) Not particularly right. in actual fact. copper conducts heat better while aluminium extracts heat quicker. The best would be a mix of copper + aluminium, like ultra 120, infinity, ninja, BTVX, and other high end heatsink. i cant remember, but i remember seeing that in some german review site |
