Would those silver based TIM will normally be better than those ceramic based ones?Or its just a gimmick in using different based type?

Testing the AS5 on my current system for already 140hours++ without turning off my PC.No drop in temperature but no increase as well.Staying at 34-36c..Should i turn it off to see a more significant decrease as i start off at around the same temperature before changing the AS5..

if i remembered correctly after applying AS5 its recommended to swich ur pc off and on like normal use..after the 200hour sink in time den u can go back to 24/7 laugh.gif

Yea, thats why i am surprised to see that the ceramic based chill factor performs even better than the silver based AS5..cant wait to test it though...

lol..Well, yes, the TR is the best right now but there aint many reviews out there.Only a couple.Hopefully i can try it out when i get mine from sHawTY when it arrives.lol..Still doing testing on my AS5 and should be getting a result this monday when i back to KL.

Anyway, about AS, i did heard someone here saying that there will be a replacement for AS5 - the AS6 coming really soon?Well, i think that might beat the TR again and let AS become the king of TIM again..lol..

lol..i think its somewhere in this thread way back. Not sure thats a rumour or just plain speculation. Well, considering that AS5 had been here for so long without a competition, i guess there might be a replacement eh..lol..

Reapply AS5 on my graphic. The temp drop about 4C.
Very satisfy !! Now my cpu temp (o'c condition) is 41C with TTBT + AS5. Happy with it.

if there is a AS6 coming out, that would definately explain why lowyat doesnt have AS5 at all.
since that happened, i need to find alternatives for my AS5, since the ones in the bulk are all in large tubes rclxub.gif
