Bro irangan,

Just wondering is it possible for the fan be here by the end of next weekend? If not, i might need you to seperate the postage of my 2 fans..Inform you if i needed you to do that...
*
I dont think so... I am trying to push them to use faster delivery method because it is their fault for this delay. If they willingly to use that, will reach by end of next week.

UPDATE

I recieved a reply from my supplier saying there is some problem with their system. That's why there is some delay on the invoice. They said they will sort it out soon.

Sry guys... Normally they only took 1 day to provide me the invoice. Without the invoice, I cant pay them. Sry ya for delay

I'm reading the noctua review at anandtech right now, http://www.anandtech.com/casecooling/showd...spx?i=2976&p=5..

Is 30 C even possible? I usually get 38-39 C and currently cpu temp is 42-43 C, not gaming, no music/video just surfing.

I'm using the athlon 64 3000+ no oc.

Here's the anandtech chart.

Yes its possible. Last time out, when i am using my Athlon64 3000+ Venice E6 (bear in mind its the Venice E6, not sure about other core), my idle temperature used to be around 28c using Zalman Fatal1ty. Not sure about what the Noctua can do though..

do you mind to post your rig picture? there is alot of factor that will affect your cpu temp. e.g. airflow, mobo bend and so on

UPDATE
Actually, I also having a serious headache on this matter. This is the first time I faced any delay from my supplier side. Normally, I will recieve the invoice 24 or 36 hours after i placed my order.

So I made a call to them and according to the people from admin side, the dude that normally handle my account is not around for some unknown reason. Thus, there is a slight delay on my order processing.

But they promised me that they will settle everything for me and the goods will be send out this week. So ETA around end of next week. If they processed my order last week, we can expect the goods to reach Malaysia by this week. But too bad shit happen.

Anyway, I fully understand that this is my fault in some sense. If you guys cant wait for another week and wanted to cancel the order, please do pm me. I will arrange a refund to you within this week as I will not around in KL till this Thursday.

Thanks and sorry for all the delay. Please do sms me if you have anything urgent.

Regards,
Jeffery

No problem la. Guess I have to burn in the CPU at stock speed first.

Once the HSF comes, then it is OC time! brows.gif

What HSF are you using? If you're using a good HSF then I'm sure you can achieve lower temperature. My CPU is running at 27-28 degrees celcius now (in air-con rooom) also set at 27 degrees celcius). If without aircon - usually around 29-30 degrees celcius.

On hot day, probably around 31-32 (I think, didn't notice it recently...)

But oopsss.... I'm running cool & quiet also.....

i was comparing my intel c2d at stock vcore with noctua cooler with anandtech results. but yours is amd w/ cool n quiet enabled, right? the cpu temperature may vary with few variables - HSF and proc, ambient case temp, etc...

What is mobo bend?

I just attached the FM-121 as outtake yesterday and now the sys temp is 33C but cpu temp is still at 41-42C. The FM-121 is set at 2000 rpm.

Was hoping to lower the big difference between sys temp and cpu temp.

Initially I also use msi cool and quiet, but at the first week of using the noctua fan there was a weird glitch, the fan speed would fall under the minimum temperature and the core center would beep, so now I changed it to manual mode with the noctua fan at top speed of 1278 rpm.

Here's the pic, I've since pulled the cables back into the empty drive bay in the top left but yeah, the cable-fu here is very bad. Also the intake air passes through hot hard disks, but then the sys temp now is okay at 33C, hoping to lower the cpu temp..
