QUOTE(Kataro @ Apr 23 2007, 09:05 PM) It is a good news... Cool...so total would be RM210 + RM95 + Rm20 right? How much do i need to pay for the deposit? Sorry, it's RM50 right? Forgot(short memory problem). Just let me know when you want me to pay the deposit, k?Can COD at Lowyat right? Is Kajang in Klang Valley? If yes can COD in Kajang also? Sorry, i failed my geography paper I think your mobo have no problem to install as push to rear, that is 180 degree, as long as there are about 10mm or more space between mobo and PSU... as for NC-U6, totally no problem as there are so much space for your chipset there... If you want the AS5, you just order here, so make it you will order NH-U12F, NC-U6, and AS5...irangan will update it at the first page for the order list...and yes, you still can join this bulk, this bulk will end this week... so you are lucky to found it earlier or need to wait very long time for bulk 5 as irangan is quick busy now... QUOTE(Polaris @ Apr 25 2007, 10:16 PM) Do you have experience with SS fans Kataro? IMO,setting the fan's RPM to 1700 or lower. The sound level at this point is acceptable for me. Just from my experience. CFM? Not sure, dunno how to measureIs the higher CFM worth the trade off for louder noise? Can the noise be reduced thru lowering the fan settings? Id so, how much lower to make the noise acceptable? This post has been edited by plague: Apr 25 2007, 10:57 PM |

Oops..i didn't read the fact regarding AS5. Very well then. Just the U12F for me. No worries bro. No need to apologize, since it is because of you we are able to get the Noctua products. Hope can catch you next week before you go on your trip.

QUOTE(unamed @ May 9 2007, 08:20 PM) Haven't install it yet. Bro wanna ask something. The lowest fin is not dented but it's fixed lower than it should. Maybe wasn't soldered properly. The gap between that fin and the 2nd lowest fin is bigger than it should. That shouldn't be a problem right? Which fin bro? Mine one seems to be ok i think. Only some a bit shakey,i think maybe because the fins not properly clamped together. I think all of them are soldered properly, only the clamping part. But still, got the fan damper thingy. I dont think it will be a problem. And in your case, as long as the fin is in the range of the fan it won't be a problem. Right? Correct me if i'm wrong.P/S: Off topic, but how do you guys make that cross out siggie? Cna't find the option to cross out items not used anymore. Please advise. QUOTE(kmarc @ May 12 2007, 06:03 AM) Just curious, look at the picture below, there is such a nice space below all the fins. And the base is flat. I think it might...but i also think the effect is insignificant. I tried it on my G-power bl once, and i dont see any difference. Just my opinion Do you think sticking another heatsink down there will improve cooling? You know, let's say we stick a chipset heatsink or heatsink fan....... The day finally come....gonna go home and assemble my noctua today...wohoooo...can't wait... This post has been edited by plague: May 12 2007, 06:34 AM |

QUOTE(kmarc @ May 12 2007, 06:33 AM) But some of the top end HSF do have a large heat sink attached to the base. Surely it would have an effect. Anybody else tried this? No..no...i have received mine, just haven't assemble it yet. Working days...12hours of work, go home sleep only Eh? How come you haven't received you Noctua? About that heatsink thing, i see your point. my nt06 also got a small heatsink at that spot. But from my experiment on my g-power, i didn't see any effect. Maybe i didn't put it correctly. Maybe soon i'll try it on my NH-U12F.... This post has been edited by plague: May 12 2007, 06:42 AM |
