I'm existing UOB card holder. Just gave a call to the CS to apply for UOB VOX card. CS told me apply through agent will take up to 2 weeks to process. Since I'm existing customer, I'll get my card by next week and they got no issue to send to my office!

Applied for One Card at their Avenue K booth almost two weeks ago but till now still no call to confirm. Don't know what's the status. Might be they think i saja saja tolong their agent to register interest. There goes one potential customer; me.

you may try to pay for all the transactions incurred after the af is charged. then call to ask for cancellation and insist that you will not pay for the af. if they cancel, then you don't have to pay the af. if they don't cancel, they will probably waive it or counter offer you with af discount.

hi guys thanks for your reply. they just called me that they will waive the AF for 3 years. why can't they just waive it during the first call. problematic.

I believe the first call was with CS while the retention department called you, they are the only one who can offer you AF waiver, not CS.

actually in my many years experience asking waiver from uob, in the early years of using it, i have to wait for retention team to call me and offer me the waiver. but after that i only deal with cs to force them to waive for me without waiting for retention team anymore.

So CS can waive for you? Can they offer 0% BT too? I remember last time the retention department offered me AF waiver and 0% BT.

no, they can't. but they can write/pass your message for the retention team to waive it off without calling you back.
