In UOB website, VOX 5% online CB states "...excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only".

In first page of this forum, Maxis, TNB, Unifi through uobonline, maxispay, TMPortal - still eligible for online 5% CB.

So, what kind of "bill payments" that are excluded from 5% CB?

Was informed that "...excludes insurance, government utilities & bill payments only" was added conditions effective 1-Jan-2016.
Anyone can verify?

If this is indeed true, then those paying bills online may risk of no CB for Jan 2015 sweat.gif sweat.gif

this is like a insurance to cover your outstanding balance.

in case you died suddenly, the insurance will pay for your outstanding balance.
*
I wonder if a person died, i think no one is legally responsible to pay the CC balance. Why bother to protect the bank?
Even I write a will saying all my 100% savings/assets goes to person B, this person B does not need to take my liabilities. No?

*

It's not because of the type of transactions. It is because UOBPayOnline...
If it follows the rule, TNB, TM all cannot have cash back but if paid via UOBPayOnline then will be OK.

Check out first post for all types of transactions we have tried and got back cash back. biggrin.gif

OMG, I just found out that you can actually pay AEON credit card bills on Posoline using another credit card! Although it has RM1.50 surcharge from AEON, 2% convenience fee and 6% GST on the former surcharges, you can still earn rebate using your cash back credit cards (provided the bank recognizes it and give rebate)!

Below is the tabulation I did for Vox card if it is entitled for 5.3% rebate:
[attachmentid=6147877]
Note that maximum you can pay is RM922.14 as any amount more than that you will still only get RM50 (max) for Vox card.
*
Why 5.3%?
What transaction is consider online 5% + non-online 0.3%?
I only get ngam ngam 5% CB.

All transactions will eventually get 0.3%. It will be posted in your statement.
Your current statement will show the total of your last month's transactions' 0.3%.
*
Ehh... my transaction on 25 Jan was online purchase, should the 0.3% bank in Feb statement?
But my statement dated 20 Feb did not show the 0.3%.
0.3% CB is more than RM5.

Cash rebate of 28c is your 0.3% of last month's statement. I posted earlier about this: https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=79055572

For 5% VOX cash back, it's usually posted by end of the following month if their system behaves, else it's early of the month (next 2 months), if it doesn't.

For the reversed charges, if it's reduced already in your outstanding amount, then you can just pay without it but if it doesn't, then you will need to avoid interest.

Only now i realized i forgot to thanks fruitie abt the 0.3% CB. Tkx ya fruitie.
btw, i think gastacopz need to be know that vox 5% cb only for transaction rm50 n above.

I help to check my sister vox unbilled transaction, there is no rebate in for TNB via payonline transaction on Feb.

In fact TNB payment via payonline will show as Tenaga National Berhad in the statement, is that correct? It should give rebate for that, right?

I remember if using other card in payonline. Description will show as uobpayonline, instead of the payee name.
*
Is this proven to be not true, or TNB via payonline is now no longer eligible?

Made a telephone application (existing one card holder) for an additional VOX card. It was delivered 5 days later as promised. Is it confirmed that all payments made via "UOB PayOnline" portal are eligible for the 5% cash back as long as it is>RM50 including ins, govt and utilities?
*
Do you need to re-submit any documentation/fill up form/sign to get additional card?

I wonder why UOB sending the total number of entries accumulated for weeks.
The contest is supposed to be a weekly prize and winner is selected based on weekly transaction.... so if they want to inform customer, they should break the entries on per week basis.
