Wanna ask about the UOB One card. The rebate thing, does it rebate me after I made a purchase immediately? Or do I have to wait for a few days before they return the rebate?

Also if I were to clear my credit card bills like after I made purchase, does it still rebate me at the end of the day?

Well, is it under your unbilled transaction? What is the posting and transaction date?

No cards will give you rebate immediately. You have to wait and usually it is by following month.
Check out the rebate dates, it is different for each card.

Then, it is too bad, it will be considered as April transaction.
You may need to call up UOB to check it out but again maybe you don't mention anything about the cash back? Wanna try to avoid them checking on UOBPayOnline "loophole".
Just say you want to check why it is not posted and transacted on 31st March when you did it on that day.

That's why I don't do transaction on the last day of cash back unless really no choice...

To ease you, just pay whatever amount in statement balance and the rebate will be offset in your next statement.

Even if the bank charged u AF, u can still ask for waiver. However if you have transaction after the AF is charged, u have to pay the AF even if u cancel the card.

Means usually have smaller chance to waive if got transaction after AF is charged? @@

I once charged UOBPayonline on the last day of the month. It was posted to the following month. I appealed to be included in the transaction month since the following month CB already max out.
They scrutinized the transactions and allow only TNB but not Pejabat tanah & Galian coz says government. Lesson learnt...

So, in conclusion don't do last minute and avoid being tracked by them.
