Nope  . Anyway I wouldn't know if they tried to deduct or not. I found out from the bank staff, in order to use my Debit Card for online transactions, I have got to call their bank centre to get some  sort of approval or activation first.

It appears unblock-us has been compromised.... Private methods still work.. Sorry, can't share publicly..

For tech savvy people can try this private method, this is one of it, https://github.com/ab77/netflix-proxy/blob/master/README.md it's easier than previous setup thanks to docker pre configure everything for us. Just a few command line and you can access US content.

I was using the trial ' unblock-us' before, but it expired a week ago. I then switched to a free VPN , and so far I can still watch U.S shows till now.

Netflix is good, on time. It stopped exactly at midnight on my expiry date!

I may resubscribe in 3 months time. I do like the HD and 4k quality!

Are you on free trial version before? Does the free trial with 4k quality?

yep, it was the foc trial period.

can get uhd 4k videos, dolby 5.1 audio provided:

.. 4k tv is certified by netflix.
.. broadband 25mbps or higher.
.. subscribe the uhd package.

My free Netflix trial gonna end soon...damm the 4K are really perfect! They really know the marketing when they offer this free trial!

That's the whole point of a trial period.. Get you hooked with their extremely easy to access library..

My free trial ended and I did not extend my subscription.

For me, the only tempting proposition to subscribe to Netflix is 4k. Content wise, it's nothing compared to what I can download and view offline. Will definitely give it a serious thought once my TV and bandwidth is ready for it.

Anyone know any fast us dns vpn for streamyx?
I've tried unotelly, getflix, tvunblock and they all max out at around 3mbps on my 8mbps streamyx.
Without dns no problem streaming 720p/1080p at >6-7mbps but less content on msian netflix.

Tried the same dns setting on unifi and it can stream up to 9mbps easily for 1080p content. Obviously streamyx and unifi are two different service but it still bugs me out how I'm limited to only 3mbps downstream.

Any other streamyx users care to share your experience?

downloading is surely more economical. but i just thought i can afford rm1.40 a day.

seriously, i sometimes get a little tired of downloading, copying to hdd, etc. there is small tnb cost too.


4k quality is excellent but content is limited, and will be so for a while.

i resubscribed <less than 2 weeks after free trial. piece of cake - once u've been on the trial, they know everything about u. one click is all it takes to restart and yr card gets charged within the next hr.

partly out of curiosity, i first took the basic pack rm33. yes, it is only sd but comes with dd5.1.

i then upgraded to hd pack rm42, all becomes hd, dd5.1.

can upgrade to uhd4k rm51 anytime but thought i'll wait a month or 2 since i have watched most of the 4k stuff during the trial.

been watching a couple of old movies and some documentaries. i also noticed there are a few korean and one (yes, just 1) chinese tv series (mandarin/eng subs). hope more will get into the library.

if there is nothing left to watch, i will just terminate, resubscribe at another time. the good news is there is no penalty for this unlike astro that charge even for a package downgrade.


one thing netflix has demonstrated - sd, hd, 4k, dd5.1 - the tech is there for reliable smooth streaming. so, all the difficulties we encounter in iflix, atog, hypp e'where, kodi - be it "why no hd", poor audio or lagging - all that is becos someone or some party simply won't give it for free, and with good reason. can't expect everything free, yet expect big budget shows to keep coming!
