FSM wants us to believe that if we don't attend the seminar, we won't get the promotional rate.
But in reality, their system is probably not smart enough to know whether we are there.
*
In tis case, v can capitalize on the promo rate of 0.50% on 9/1 n 16/1 respectively

Just hope what you said is true...
I remembered, got 1 time recently, they used a very simple system....they hand out discount voucher in the form of password number...
one need to key in the password to get the discount....no need smart system...
*
That was an event in April last year. The code can be used only once and has expiry date. In current case, validity is only for a single day, so don't think they will use voucher. Anyway they said the same think last year but everyone still can buy at special rate without attending the event in person.

Good for you. So long as you meet the cutoff time / date, it doesn't really matter where your payment originates from. But I'd like to prepare early by making sure I have enough in CMF since I've had troubles with FPX in the past (for other unrelated purchase) and needs 24 hours for the merchant to manually track it.

Not too sure about the settlement period for cash vs CMF though.

And no, RHB is not the only one available.

So guys, anyone of you want to share your direction/assumption for next year?

Which region to focus, avoid? Your view. Not from FSM article.

I think I will be focusing on China/HK & SEA. Which means focus on Ponzi funds.
