QUOTE(Axell @ May 14 2016, 05:04 PM) If use CC to pay for tyres purchase and service, it doesnt count under retail right? Don't think so. Unless the tyres are sold by Tesco or other grocery retailer with is quite impossible. You can get lub oil for cb if buy under Tesco since they are selling them. Buy tyre I don't think so...Btw Im using CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum |

Entitled for 0.2% cash back.Btw Im using CIMB Cash Rebate Platinum QUOTE(lengzhai @ May 14 2016, 05:07 PM) Don't think so. Why it is not retail? All transactions are retail transactions just that some cards give cash back according to MCC. Your answer seems to have mixed up retail and groceries?CIMB CR gives 0.2% cash back for all spends which don't fall under any of their cash back categories. |

QUOTE(saitong09 @ May 9 2016, 09:18 PM) QUOTE(adele123 @ May 9 2016, 11:10 PM) But your cash rebate is still dated 29th correct? Personally, I would really like to move the statement date. It differes from my other cards. Kinda annoying. QUOTE(gastacopz @ May 10 2016, 08:58 AM) cimb cs agent called back. said already escalated my request to change statement date to higher level to review my case, answer: not possible to change.i argued a "friend" with new cimb cr card can be assigned to 3rd for statement date. he asked me to give card number or NRIC to verify. obviously i cant give him to check, with or without consent la well, not bother to nag since rarely use it after gotten UOB VOX or PBB VS. |

With two point six billion millions sorry. I mistakenly assume Retail=Grocery only. As in my brain when I typed just now retailer=grocery retailer. This is wrong in CIMB CB terms. Any Purchases of Goods or Service which is Charged to the Credit Card will treat as "Retail Transaction". https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=79730386 I am considering autoparts, that's the reason why I immediately think that buying tyre (one of auto parts) is not equivalently as shopping at grocery retailers aka Tesco, Jaya, 99 speedmart, KK, Aeon Big etc. Buy tyre using CIMB CR still have the 0.2% cash back, which falls under Others retails. Sorry for my confusion. The confusion is cleared by fruitie and fly126. |
