Hey guys. Just got my Platinum Cash Rebate Credit Card not too long ago. First used it to start the Apple Music 3 months free trial, it shouldn't have any charges, but I received an SMS saying I was charged 1 USD.

And few days later I wanted to make donations online but the payment didn't went thru.. but again I received a sms saying I was charged 1 USD.. what's up with that?

Why you don't call CS for clarification for these suspicious transaction?

Those are just pre-authorized amounts and will not charge to you eventually.

Not credit card related but out of the blue I received an sms say cashback for CIMB AT WORK campaign for my saving account.

check my SA and got 588 in there. The promo was back in 2015 and need at least 6 month of consistent payroll into your SA.

actually i dont know how they calculate and track. i receive multiple fix n non fix deposit each month into my cimb. only a small portion of it is my actual income n definitely not 10k

actually all of my income that go to cimb i will immediately transfer out to maybank savers

Yeah, RM 588 is the highest. I'm waiting for my RM 288. Me poor lady.
This month's payroll is the 6th month and will need to wait 2 months to bank in, I will change my payroll account back to Maybank once I receive the money.

WhitE LighteR Just checking if you have received any SMS after you registered? I didn't and I did check with CIMB CS, she told me it is normal, they don't send back... Now only I read it did have. I actually read through the TnC before I opted for it and nothing was mentioned about the SMS reply until now..
