ya me too....i just try my luck by writting what i know on substantive or TOC.......and the last question not so sure..but i just write it anyway.hope can get a few marks from there..................
Its my 1st time taking F8----hope i can pass 50%...so i dont have to look back audit....waaaaaaaaaaaaaa
and i can move on to PART3....cant wait for it.

Enough of F8...Just hope for the best.I Have 2 papers 2go...concentrate on those two..
Emm pilot paper i guess only a few topic are relevant not the questiom are simillar.....

To me, aiiiiii can't answer most of the questions!!!
Q1 - not sure TOC or TOD.......
Q3 - not sure wat's the procedures using Audit Software.......
Q4 - dono how to answer independence and identify weaknesses
Q5 - dono wat's add procedures if Client doesn't want to provide depn.
dono wat's the meaning of purpose of the Extracts..........

erm, generally doable, probably will pass around 55-65 marks. my guess.

so now i have 4 days to study for p1, f7(which i can ignore), and p3.

gLAD that F8 is over,reduce some knowledge weight on it..during last few days,focus heavily on audit..hopefully can get through even 50%.. now to focus on P1,P3 which is also...heavy duty...especially P3 After looking at the FTC rev.kit answer for P3..i just wonder,how can a candidate write a full page scale answer well,keep that away,focus on dr.parmindar answer lor.. but really cant wait P1, new paper,new surprise hmm...
btw, today F8 dun hv professional marks is it( report,memo), i mean like a report other than present ur answer in so called tabular format..
Mcorange send a msg last week,beside of saying gluck, they are GOLD status now,including SEGI college...

hmm. i wonder if they will penalised me or over look my answer coz throughout the last few 45minute i was rushing my handwritting was very bad

i wish i can hold back some time. i wish i didnt spend too much time for q1(a), too much time on the internal auditor independence too. uhhh... sux.

i should have taken normal accounting degree not acca. im not up for this whole crazy mumbo jumbo study like hard can also fail

same as me..by the time the inviligator announce stop writing, thats where my handwritting started to show the ugliness...now need a very very good mark-up points to reach 50

er... cos p1 and p3 more theory, f7 mainly calculation, which i had lots of practice... so, XD

ACCA is cheaper, but kept resiting, it is SO MUCH EXPENSIVE !

noticed from ACCA magazine, next yr subscription fee & exam fee up 2 dollar pound each sumore... damn...

CBE is nice,since you have more sittings for it (correct me if I'm wrong) Don't think it'll make too much of a difference,but CBE should be slightly easier.

Are you aiming for a world prize? If you are,then taking CBE won't allow you to do so.You gotta take the written one to get a world prize iianm

regarding P2 Corporate Reporting..
the pilot paper got cash flow statement for the group.. will it high possibility that cash flow stt coming out in the real exam since the pilot paper have it?

i very scare ar.. i dunno how to do cash flow stt.. sigh..

actually cash flow is the simplest !! if cash flow come out, thank god. u memorized format jea and open t-acc for every item except for debtor, creditor and inventory. get the bank balance figure. post it in the cash flow

my lecturer said chances for cashflow to come out is rather slim coz came out at dec06 dee.

high chances is group forex ias21. she said examiner wanted to tested forex for sometimes now but forex take up lotsa time not suitable for only 25marks. but now under new syllabus, q1(a) will be 35 marks not 25 anymore, high chances group forex comes out :-) watch out!

i focus on p1. i dont want to repeat p1. p1 is rather easy than p2.

Yea,know your cashflow,but don't put too much hopes on it - is pretty much what everyone is saying.
And yea,forex seems to be the hot topic to come out.
