Was just wondering, for paper 2.3,will RPGT still be part of the "standard questions"?

QUOTE(b3llad0nna @ Jun 7 2007, 10:38 PM) Well count me in! i'm definitely gonna sit for it next sem too... I think its one of the toughest 2.5 paper in the history Same here.I had this lil thought "what if 2.5 is the odd one out and tries to be tough" but thought I was just thinkin too much.Mana tau .. Never came across tht kinda Q2 adjustments before.. ratio :| so much to write but dunno what to write.... Q3 & Q5 *sigh* no comment la.. Q1 was the only ok-ok one.. the rest all ken die ! I was expecting tht 2.5 wud be easy..since everyone said tht 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 all very easy mah.. I guess i better prepare for the worst for 2.4! Else gone case like 2.5 also..Hehe U still got time for 2.4,work hard |

Hey I think I remember ranting in here bout 2.5 after the exam, and u ppl were ranting as well. But like you ppl,I somehow passed it,managed to get 66
Passed my other 2 papers (2.3 and 2.5) as well. Currently taking P1,2 & 7. Will take the remainder essential and one optional (think I wanna take the FM,kinda sucky to come out without proper advanced FM knowledge) next sem |

QUOTE(Irresistible @ Nov 29 2007, 06:35 PM) You remember the conceptual framework you would have learnt in 2.5 right? (objectives, underlying assumptions, etc)For P2 examination purposes,I think the current issue is significant. There's an ED issued by the FASB on rebuilding foundations of financial reporting by revising the Conceptual Framework. The full ED can be found here but it's a pretty darn long read. My lecturer gave us this article for reading This post has been edited by ellimist: Nov 29 2007, 07:56 PM |

QUOTE(princessintan @ Nov 30 2007, 03:52 AM) my lecturer said, in p2, you must know std, so you memorised std. in exam just quote std, than do application. if application/calculation is wrong, u will be awarded on your knowledge on std. this is not 2.5 where they want to be technically sound. Yea,that's what my lecturer from Sunway said as well. I really hope this helps,as I'm starting to give up on P2 as well the rest leave it to god. |

Reading time started from 3pm so the exam ended at 6.15pm for us here at Sunway. (I assume that's how it's done elsewhere too)
P7,was crappily petty and difficult. Now considering I haven't put much hopes in p2,failing p7 together would be real This post has been edited by ellimist: Dec 4 2007, 11:20 PM |

QUOTE(G[a]rY @ Dec 5 2007, 11:17 AM) Well,in bits and pieces. Like if pilot paper focused on an area,it seemed to just pop up as a small part in the real exam.Pilot paper was more forgiving in the sense it wasn't as specific, imo (can't really remember the paper itself now,nor the pilot paper =p) |

QUOTE(alexandria @ Dec 6 2007, 10:15 AM) hi .... CBE is nice, since you have more sittings for it (correct me if I'm wrong) Don't think it'll make too much of a difference, but CBE should be slightly easier.would like to ask senior her...CBE or paper based exam better for F1 until F3.. Is there any difference ? Are you aiming for a world prize? |
