How do I differentiate between a BIK or 13(1)(a) treatment for a Loan to employee ? This part is really confusing me.

The notes I have say that it is treated as a Perquisite, the cost of providing the loan.
But in the past year, Mr Augustin's loan is treated as a BIK

Any clarification ?

Its under s13(1)(a) if it has a cost to the employer,
if its frm internal fund, no need to be taxed

today in the exam hall(sunway)
somebody got caught by cheating, bringing 2 piece of paper into the exam hall
so desperate to pass until need to cheat

omg, why so dumb one! 2 papers? too obviousla..
cheating is a HEAVY OFFENSE.. he/she can kiss his or her ACCA good bye.

do past year questions & take a look at examples found in choong kwai fatt taxation book i think is sufficient to pass.

today no.3 question on service tax is same as example 33.4 page 611 of choong kwai fatt taxation book. haha

after monday 2.1 setback.

Hi i just finished 2.2 yesterday, hope will pass, passing rate 50 right?

Anyway i'm self-study student and after the 2.2 paper i going to take fulltime 2.3-tax, 2.5-fin.reportg, 2.6-audit and may be one of the part3 paper because i'm going to apply for exemption for 2.4-fin management.

Can i know which lecturer & college is best in those paper?

2.4-raj / chow kim tai (paac)
2.5-joe fang ( duno where the lastest place, might be kasturi?? )
2.6- shine (duno who n where?? )

Why this seating 2.1, 2.2,2.3 is so much easier than last seating...and quite suprise that they gave so much marks for computation for company tax....

today sunway more strict already invigilating since they caught the student cheating yesterday,...
