Yep haha, changed my mind about withdrawing the money in japan. I do not want to have any risk in japan without cash...

Also is there any place to suggest for money exchange? I have euro and consider of changing at the airport but i think i can get better rate in tokyo.

Hi all sifus out there,

I'm planning my itenerary to osaka from 4/11 - 11/11 as below, please feel free to comment whether will it be too pack or additional places to add in

04/11 (Day 1) - Arriving Kansai Airport and check in Airbnb by evening, most likely to spend time just at Dotonburi for meal and shopping
05/11 (Day 2) - Osaka Castle, Nishinomaru Garden, Tennoji Temple, Umeda Sky Building
06/11 (Day 3) - Ichiba Kuromon Market, Hozen-Ji, Tsutenkaku Tower and Shinsekai, Osaka Aquarium
07/11 (Day 4) - USJ & Pokemon Center
08/11 (Day 5) - Kiyomizu-dera-temple, Ninen-zaka and Sannen-zaka Preserved Districts, Maruyama-koen Park, Shoren-in Temple, Nishiki Market, Fushimi Inari
09/11 (Day 6) - Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, Okochi-Sanso Villa, Daitoku-ji Temple, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Pontocho Alley
10/11 (Day 7) - Nara & Osaka
11/11 (Day 8) - Spend the first half Dotonburi area before flying back to Msia

For the trip, I'm planning to stay in Osaka city from day 1-8 and plan to travel daily to Kyoto and Nara, so my planned travel passes is as below. However I'm not too sure this is the best planning or it's better to buy other passes?

04/11 (Day 1) - Icoca & Haruka pass
05/11 (Day 2) - Osaka Amazing pass
06/11 (Day 3) - Osaka Amazing pass
07/11 (Day 4) - Kansai Thru pass
08/11 (Day 5) - Daytrip pass (Osaka - Kyoto) & Kyoto 500 Yen bus pass
09/11 (Day 6) - Daytrip pass (Osaka - Kyoto) & Kyoto 500 Yen bus pass
10/11 (Day 7) - Kansai Thru Pass
11/11 (Day 8) - Icoca & Haruka pass

I'm still looking shift a little of day 5 or 6 itenerary to day 7 since Nara should be sufficient with half day trip?

Has anyone here watched the Japanese drama series "Tokyo Love Story" aka "东京爱情故事"? It was popular in Japan, Singapore and Malaysia during the 90s.

There were some scenes that were shot in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku island.
Here is a presentation material I found on those Ehime filming locations:
English => https://doc.co/QRXfP5
Mandarin Chinese => https://doc.co/VxfJ6C

I hope this is useful and you liked it.

I went to japan without booking any accomodation

For my first night I found a net cafe at shibuya

Its enough for me except theres no washer and dryer for me to wash my very few clothes

Then I moved and stayed at Centurion hotel in Akasaka

It's a capsule like hotel and great if you prefer more privacy

I have U Mobile but that is Rm36 a day. What cheaper alternatives SIM card for data especially I can get in Japan. I read that you can even buy one at Yodabashi or Bic Camera.

Depends on what you need, validity or amount of data..
When I need to use quite a lot of data for a day or two,I just use Maxis and run it on roaming plan
For my case,I need 80+ days of data,so I went for IIJmio Japan travel sim,2GB for 3 months, the cheapest I could find laugh.gif

Go Japan bojio!!! vmad.gif

Most of the Airbnb units there provide free portable wifi egg.

Otherwise, you can also rent the wifi egg from airports when you arrive. If I recall correctly, was around RM20 a day or so. Depending on company.

Last time I help a friend to buy the travel sim also from Bic. But I can't remember how much already. It was this one: https://t.iijmio.jp/en/

Coming Tokyo trip, I'm just going for Airbnb units that provide wifi egg.

My past few trips to Japan I just survive on hotel free wifi. Download offline map maybe?

The last Seoul trip had wifi egg from the airbnb unit, I actually find it a real distraction. The whatsapp/FB/insta and also I realise I enjoy exploring more when I don't have internet connection to search around. Just walk in to any shop I see along the way haha.

the wifi egg all have a daily quota
so it will depends on your daily usage...and how many ppl will be using it
their house have no internet, they use this wifi egg to replace it
so if you're using to surf FB or youtube when you're back at home...i suggest getting an extra wifi egg on your own

Ohhh. I didn't know that. Good to know.
Do you know roughly how much is the daily quota? Looks like I'll have to ask the airbnb unit owner before I confirm any bookings then.
