First time going to Japan, just need some info on subway ticket
reach Narita Japan on 22nd late evening, coming back 26 early morning -  22 to 24 staying in Tokyo n 25th night at airport hotel.

If I buy combi (3 day pass + round trip train Narita-Tokyo) ticket can I set the metro 3 day pass to start on 23rd till 25th ,  22nd only for train to Tokyo ( my hotel near main train station ) or what is the best way to do this ?  don't  think I will go out on 22nd night.
Thanks

So, if i get snow boots, both places would be the same in case of lugging luggage? Looks like a hassle if i were to stay 5 mins away...
*
Yes. If snow was deep. 5 Minute of walk with luggage was very inconvenient. Make sure your Luggage was waterproof

Around what time you will be arriving? Currently, I think cheapest will be Haruka + Icoca pass, costing you around 4k yen for round trip. If you are traveling alone, I think you can get cheap hotel or Airbnb for around 120+

Just checked the haruka icoca website, they are revising their pricing structure, so you only can make reservation for trip before 1st of March

Quick question, when I do the train routing in hyperdia site, it will say Transfer 1 but the the fare is just one time.
For example, from Roppongi to Asakusa.
ROPPONGI > HIGASHI-GINZA (transfer here) > ASAKUSA(TOBU/SUBWAY) and the fare is ¥280
Does it mean I can directly transfer line from Hibiya Line to Asakusa Line without going out from the gate?

Yes.
Hibiya Line and Toei Line are under Tokyo Metro Bureau.

Then my recommendation is to get AirBnb nearby Kyoto Station for 1 night because you have to travel around 50 minutes from airport to Kyoto, so why dun make it at night.
BTW, after 11pm, no more bus and cab rate is much more expensive. Haruka can directly stop at Kyoto station and its better to find any lodging nearby there for staying 1 night

10:40pm arrived Kansai Airport, After custom check and Luggage pickup. Almost 11:30pm - 12:00am.
JR ''Haruka'' Limited Express last train was 10:30pm. This means no more Train service for you anymore.
Taxi, Super Expensive.

Only option sleep at Airport until next morning 6:30am then taking 1st ''Haruka'' Limited Express to Kyoto Station.
Or
Take 11:40pm ''Last'' Limousine Bus From Kansai International Airport to Kyoto Station. You need to Rush like mad!!! 1 small mistake bye bye...100% miss it
Limousine Bus means you need buy ticket first at ticket Counter only can boarding the Bus. Your success rate only 20% chances.

Only work when you connected to their roaming partner. e.g. SoftBank.

Please refer to you own telco website and find out more info. and please ensure you have at least a 3G phone to roam.

Hi Guys

Sorry to ask this question but I did search on page 1 regarding JR Pass. However, understand that JR pass can't ride Nozomi shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto. Can I know which website to search for the ticket price and can I book online?

I did some research on Ryokan in Mt Fuji area for Dec but all fully book. Anyway have any idea?

Thanks

Japan Hotel only Open 3 month earlier Reserve. If you want to stay at Dec means you only can start booking at October.
Online Booking only for JR East Train. Tokyo to Kyoto are Tokaido Line which was under JR Central; This means no online booking option available. You have to buy at Ticket counter.

Is it possible to ask for cash-back in Japan?

Like when buying things in grocery store and pay with debit cards. Say it's 5000¥. So they charge to my card ¥10k so that they give me cash ¥5k.

In this way, I don't have to withdraw money from ATMs.
