Did any user here having slow charge problem? I am using original charger n cable. But it take almost half day only complete charge. Anyone hv solution on it? Thanks.

Try clear cache & restart phone. Then charge again. See if you still get same problem. Else, I think u shud claim warrnty. Need advise from the others pro here.

hahaha the first thing i wanted to install from play store is whatsapp and that starts with w. Haven't tried searching for other alphabets. but scrolled down to social apps & clicked on instagram - install success someone in xiaomi got a problem with whatsapp?

Hey guys, if you are having trouble searching apps on Google Play due to the FC bug, try searching the app with Google account logged on in your desktop browser. You can click "install" and select your RN2 as the device to install from there. Installation will launch shortly after on your phone.

same situation like me yesterday.. format phone 2 times.. already update .. still got the problem.. press w..then force close..

so i just tap top app and install main app for me..whatsapp,wechat,waze..

after that no more fc.. weird.. maybe google play store silent update it to latest version.

You mean you're syncing from your old phone to prepare migrating to RN2? This should be found in Settings > Accounts under most Androids. Just log into Google Account and there should be a sync option around there. Hope this helps!

Good and nice apps but u need to adjust the timing which suit u when u wanna wake the phone up via proxi sensor and battery friendly also.

bout the play store last few days i kena is type "u" will fc, when i search for ant"u"tu, but after replace to newer version google play service from mulut99, never happen anymore.

and i find after "mute notification" on wechat group chat, the small icon won't show on notification bar, my old samsung will show but just don't make noise, anyone know how to solve? i're tried setting in manage notifications and permissions autostart...

Happened to my Mi4i too after upgrading miui without clearing cache.

For those meet the fc problem,have you all try this solution?


1) Settings > Additional Settings > Privacy > Device Administrators > Android Device Manager > Deactivate

2) Settings > Installed Apps > Google Play Services > Uninstall update

After uninstallation is perform, your Google Play Services Version will go back to 8.3.01. You can update to the 8.3.03 version from the 8.3.01 version and the force close will not be occur.

is there anyway to change system emoji without root? not fans of google's....

and is there anyway to even lower performance than balance mode?
i find playing 2D game like dot arena also will feel warm after 10mins, battery will start jump quickly after warm and the game will starting to lag too... not sure if performance overkill, this game should be very low requirement my old old device can play smooth without heating and cause lag at all.

just received the update today but scared to updating it as it might make mine worse

For me this update fix a lot of issue. And battery life better compare with previous version.

Mine original rom 7.0.7.0 updated to 7.0.12.0 is OK. But honestly , I don't feel any improvement. Google play store still got error.

Just installed waze which I never used b4 When i click the "my location button", it could not locate me. In fact the screen just went blue. When I pull the drop-down notification screen, it said waze was searching for GPS.

I thot maybe GPS was not enabled. So I went to google maps to check ( hehe they don't have the location setting button in phone settings anymore). Was set to high accuracy - GPS bolstered by wifi & mobile networks. So I switched it to GPS only.

Funny thing, google maps could still show my location & navigate but waze was still searching for GPS . Anyone else exp this?
